It's a forum for comic book and animation artists and man are they egotistical. But I wanna be an animator, so I joined. Sometimes, they offer good advice.

10 Second Club

Forum for animators to pimp their stuph. They have 10 second audio clips that are posted and then the animators make animations to them and post them every month. Fun spot and primo place for animations.

Animation Nation Forums

I haven't joined this one, but I frequent it quite often. They're even worse than the comic book artists. I mean, these people could crush the terminator robots with their ego's! It's definetly a scary proposition for a person's self esteem, so I'll look and not tough for now.

I go to our affiliate, FFGurus , from time to time. I haven't been there very much lately, however. There's just so much there, and a lot of it seems to be the same sort of thing we have here.

I also go to one that's centered around running, Cool Running . I'm training to run right now, taking a program called Couch to 5k, and I go to the forums there for support and to have questions answered.

This is an anime forum that I now admin. It's main focus is the anime Aa! My Goddess. Out of all the forums that I've been to, this is probably the one that I've been active the longest at.

GameCombos
I used to pretty big into the fighting game Guilty Gear XX, and this forum's focus is the gameplay of that particular game. I lurk more than I actually post now since my interest has kind of waned as of late.

Shoryuken
I only check one thread here and that is the Rochester, NY area thread. Activity in the fighting scene has died down the past month since everyone is playing FFXI and doesn't want to leave their homes. =/

Anime Gamer
Formerly known as Anihina, a message board devoted to the anime Love Hina, the webmaster decided to expand the focus to include all anime and forms of gaming since Love Hina ended anime-wise and manga-wise long ago.

I post on a couple other forums very rarely such as thefinalfantasy's forums, the soulcalibur 2 boards, gamefaqs, and other random anime boards. Hsiu, I actually also used to be pretty active over at Rumic World, but my interest in Takahashi anime has been dead for a while now. I still talk to a bunch of the older members occassionally through AIM. Plus there is one particular person that I couldn't stand over there. =/

Hero's Reality

A fairly small message board where people roleplay. Well, there's not a lot of good roleplays there. And the ones that look promising aren't done being created yet. A lot of people leave. And the administrater's getting annoyed by this. (Well, he's kind of a jerk anyway when you piss him off. Don't tell him I said that.)

I'm also working on a Castlevania based RP for the board.

i Lurk at alot of guitar and music related boards, but becuase people are so sensitive about talking about music, and i get in enough fights over music with my friends, i've never felt compelled to join.

other then that i can be found at the RPGamer forums - good forums, very strict with the rules (thats a good thing, it keeps the trolls and the spam out) except alot of the people there act smarter then they are.

gameFAQs - havn't posted in a few years because it got over crowded.

Well, I go to a lot of forums, myself. Let's see...

Boards.jp - A forum focused on Japan, though mainly anime and manga, BJP is quite a popular forum, and I am proud to say I am a moderator for such an excellent forum.

Shoujo Anime - This one's relatively new, the original forum was created May 22nd of this year on freeBB, although it migrated to full phpBB within the last few weeks. I also happen to be the admin of Shoujo Anime, Ragnarøk.

RPGClassics Agora - A forum that's supposed to be based on RPGs, but it's turned very much into a social board where people mostly know each other and b**** about their problems to get them laughed at. I don't go there a whole lot anymore, but I'm still pretty active.

Anim3.com - A3 is a lot smaller than it used to be, apparently it suffered some sort of worm or something in the past, and it was wiped out. These days it's a pretty small, tight-knit community, it seems to be very difficult to get accepted as a member there; I only made it in easily because one of the Super Moderators is a friend of mine. I'm known as Firefox on A3.

Twilight - A spanish forum focused on the anime "Saber Marionette J." I'm pretty quiet there, these days, but it's mostly because I can't speak much spanish.

Shadow of the Dragon - A dedicated RPG community, (talking Dungeons and Dragons and the like) SotD is also pretty small, these days, although it's quite easy to be accepted and become popular there; all you have to do is be active in the Spam forum.

To Prove Their Worth - I joined at a friend's request, it's another RPG forum, but it's very new, and not very active. I've watched it go for days, even almost a week, without one new post.

And there's one other forum that I'm a moderator on, under the name "Saint Ebony," but I'm sure that posting a link would be against the rules. (It's a... shall we say "adult" forum. ) Let's jsut say that the acronym for it is "SGH."

And of course, the Caves of Narshe. So that's 9 forums, I'm on.

I was suprised by the Something Awful memberships; I only know it for their FF VI patch, which is almost as big as a continuous annoyance as "how to Blitz' topics and Gogo discussion threads.

- 'Nother Something Awful goon here. Admittedly, I signed up as a member a long, long time ago, but have only browsed the boards maybe twice ever since.

- I visit RPGClassics Agora every once in a blue moon. There's only 'bout a handful of people there really worth talking with.

- GameFAQs, of course. Mainly the FF3(US) board, EarthBound board and, as embarrassing as it is to say, LUE. As of late, I've done more lurking than posting. I actually haven't visited LUE in well over a year now. Eh, I quit going there 'cause everthing turned strictly to spammy fads anyway...

- Given the nature of this next one, be warned: It's really, uh, not for virgin eyes, kinda like Something Awful. It's called Video Game Recaps, so if anyone here's been there, they know what I'm talking about. It's a really funny place though, IF you share the same sense of humor as the admins and generally all the members do. And it's got a nice collection of humor-themed recaps for several video games, mainly RPG's.

- There's also a plethora of music boards I used to frequent, but I lost them from my Favorites list when I had to reinstall my browser and just haven't gotten 'round to looking them back up.

- Oh, and then there's CoN, because duh.

A very, very long time ago, when there were still dinosaurs around, I had fics at IcyBrian's. I had no idea he even had forums until I went there recently to have my fics deleted. One of them had a rather scathing review. I know it's for something that I wrote when I was 15, and I shouldn't be embarassed, but I'd rather not post there and risk being associated with that fic.

At the moment, CoN is the only board I frequent. I have lurked around FFGurus and FFOnline a bit, but I haven't joined their forums.

There's mainly just two forums I post on. This one, which has some very interesting characters and discussions.

And my favourite http://doughnutvalley.proboards33.com/ which has some very friendly people there, who all love to laugh. A very friendly atmosphere. Great stuff.

Terry Pratchett is my all time favourite author, so I've started posting on this forum http://www.discworldstamps.co.uk/forum/ . Seems quite nice. Not sure if I'll stick around though.

Joblo's is a kickass movie site that I've been a member of since 2003. Its also one of the boards that I acutally have been able to stay on.

Blink-182 Online.....just because I'm an old school fan of blink-182, but I usually just stalk the site, reading about upcoming CDs and music videos.

I'll occasionaly go on the GameFaqs forums for various games I play. Another i go to Is the Tales of Symphonia Forums on thier official site tales.namco.com but that is it for me usualy.

The Zelda Universe fourms is one of the largest Zelda fan-based fourms on the internet. It's very nice, and have a number of members. One downfall of Zelda Universe is that in recent months, n00bs has flooded and spam the theards with stupid dumbass remarks and flame wars and what not. Once you get pass the stupidly of the n00bs, you'll find that Zelda Universe is one of the best fourms on the internet.

Heh, just today I posted for the last time there actually pointing out how uninformed and, unprofessional they were. Their response being "This site has been active for 7 MONTHS. You call that unprofessional?"
