Recently, I beat FF6 for I believe the third time in my History of playing it. Twice when it first came out when I was 13 playing the SNES, and once on the Emulator.

I'm currently playing i90east's Expert Version (which I might add is a great change of pace; enemies actually do their RAGES now). And one thing I've noticed for as long as I've been at the CoN.com Forums is that people will bring up different parts in the dialogue where characters give hints at something/someone's history. An idea popped in my head upon gathering many of these ..

That idea would be of creating a site with a Final Fantasy 6 Timeline .. It would start Pre-War of the Magi, up until possibilities hinted at in the game for after the end of FF6. Their would be two sections of the site a Timeline, and in depth history and analysis of each character, playable, and unplayable. The site would be dedicated simply to the storyline of FF6, and a resource for FanFics and FanArt. Of course, there would be a Links section to all the useful FF SNES Series games and CoN at the top.

I just want to get the opinion of other forum members of whether this could actually be a success and if they'd visit such a site. I'd keep a Disclaimer of Spoilers and what not in the very beginning, but it would be a site for those who love the storyline like I do. So what do you guys think of it?

Also, R51, I don't know if the FF6 Forum would be a good place to Post this Topic, but I haven't actually created it yet, so Creations & Site Submissions was out of the question, and it's strictly FF6.

I believe something like the timeline you speak of has already been created (sorry!), although judging from how it was put together, probably for pencil-and-paper-RPG purposes. You should be able to find it by searching google for "ff6 timeline". It's rather interesting, I would say, although they get Leo's and Kefka's last names wrong.

I just checked google.com and came across "The History of Aeolus", which is a one page text version of the FF6 Timeline. Good information here, but I was thinking something more interactive, with pictures and gifs, and stuff like that. I never knew of this site, so maybe I'll completely reconsier.

It's a TIMELINE so you organize them when the events happened.
