In your opinion, which game is better. I choose Tactics myself. I think the storyline was much more intense.

This is a no brainer. ^^ Final Fantasy Tactics literally drew you into it's web of intercharacter relations, character growth, and compelling storyline. The puppet strings are in place, but who is the one holding them?
While FFTA was an amusing game, it pales in comparison to its predecessor. The storyline is ....eh. When I first started playing it, all I could think was "Neverending Story/Jumanji ripoff". I did enjoy it, but just nowhere nearly as much as I did FFT. |

As always in video games, the original is better. FFTA didn't change my opinion lets see if FFX-2 can.

clouds cool and all, but i wouldnt base a whole game's fun factor on whether you get him or not. besides i dont really use him anyway, my characters are gods by this time anyway. getting him to lvl 70 is not how i wanna spend 10 hours of my life. blah!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think it's a fair poll in the first place, due to the fact FFTA is on a portable console, but anyway.
FFT crushes his little brother in every aspects, especially in the plot section cuz let's face it, there isn't much of that in FFTA. FFTA actually bored me so much I didn't finish it. The only thing he had for itself is the presence of moogles, and that's not much. |

I know it really isn't a fair pole. I just thought it would be fun to get other peoples opinions on this subject. I usually tend to want to know if people think sequels are better than the originals. I am a person who likes the originals more. I love old school games

I prefer the original Final Fantasy Tactics. FFTA was a good game, but pales in comparison with FFT. I didn't like the 'rules' sstem, either.
