Hey, I know it's been a while snice I've posted, I've been real busy...and still am. I'm here to ask for some help on an english project I havce due this upcoming monday. It's for Macbeth, and for it, I'm using FFVI characters to act out scenes from the play.
I'm just having troble getting back grounds of areas without the sprites on there. normally this would be easy, but my rom is corrupted, so I can't just play through and get them. So I'm asking for the help of anyone who is around these points in the game.
The places I need are the WoR field during a battle, the Figaro Castle throne room, and Edgars bedroom, the Phantom Woods, during a battle, or out of battle during one of the screens with the log across the road, a battle in a cave, the vector banquest hall, and the scene where Celes jumps off the cliff if Cid dies.
I need all but the last of these without sprites, which is very easy using an emulator, all you have to do is turn off all of the layers, except the background layer. I know this may be short notice and if no one can, it's ok, I'll just have to improvise. However, i really think it would be fun to do the scenes, so if I get the ones I need and turn 'em in for the project, I'll post them somewhere here, probably "My Creations" Many many thanks to anyone who can help me out.

I don't know about roms, but if the rom keeps its info on it in its file then I can send it to you, as I have a save where I am up to before kefkas tower, or I can direct you to the site I got the rom, but I dunno if it will work. I also have a save state in the vector banquet hall. however, do you need the actual scene where she does jump or where you come back to it, and how much do you need? I can gladly find what you need if you tell me what.

Not to mention it saves people the trouble of hacking a rom. I hope this is helpful. The backgrounds might be a little small though . .

Adding that they do not have everything requested. They do have a forest battle scene and a desert one too.

Sorry, had to dissapear for a day. And I can get by w/o Celes Jumping, and with the site tonepoet gave me, I'm set.
Many many thanks to you Tonepoet, that site got me everything I needed. I'm just improvising a few places into what I need for a backdrop.

also, out of interest, how are you making this paper? are you using photoshop (or equivalent) to make scenes that illustrate captions below or what? ...sorry, long day.

Can't help at this point i suppose. Man, it just so happens i'm reading Macbeth at this exact moment in English. We don't get to do cool projects like this though . All i get to do is lame reading logs.

Oh, yeah, finished the project and got it back today. 100, and the teacher had been showing it off 'cause she though it was hilarious. To other teachers I mean. so I guess it was a success. And alphsmart, I indeed used photoshop to do all this. (forgot to lock before, gonna do it now.) XD
