What's up with this enemy?

What's going on with this one? Its attacks are crazy! They damage like hell! Even though my characters are maxed, that guy can kill them all in a second if I'm unlucky. I read in the enemy list here on this site, that this enemy has got 180 in attack power!!! Is that true? Is it supposed to be like this? Or did the programmers input an incorrect value? Because it seems so unbalanced. -------------------- People say I'm a slow learner, but I type fast! |

probably because u rushed them, but if you fight them not after you get to WoR, (without leveling up in dino forest) they will be a bit of trouble. (c'mon, u just finished WoB and rush a 5400 HP monster?), but you won't have to fight them because you'll have air ship. (I think they are near Narshe(not inside) and around Zozo in WoR, i did have some trouble with them too when i tried to walk ignoring my airship

Equipment has alot more to do with survival than level. Poor preperation is usually to blame for most losses, as well as uunfamiliarity with bosses.

but this isnt a boss. for my characters, 1 hit meant death. no exceptions. quite a shock when you first meet one and it starts off with a 3000 hit.

Meh don't worry Mantodea ain't nothing special. Just wait until your in the mines looking for Umaro and fight a Pug. And when you do then your screwed.

Oh yeah, those pugs. Pug or Pugs. I think both know StepMine, which does some 4200-5000 damage that ignores defense. Maybe I should try Control on them...

Deadly little buggers those pugs are, too bad a fully refreashed Edgar weilding an Atma weapon and an excalibur took him out. God bless the overkill of the offering/gengi glove combination.
