it took a long time and a loss, but i finally realize what made me happiest:

being with my mother and having her there for me made me happier than anything else in the world. nothing can replace that and now, due to the events of yesterday i finally realize it, all too late.

you never know what you have til its gone.

I recently discovered a new one: crawling (and I do mean crawling) into my bed after work. (I work the night shift at Kroger; standing on your feet for 8 hours straight on a cold, hard floor is not comfy)
