Do you think there should be a final fantasy tv series, and if you say yes, which ff should it be based on??

well.... alot of the games just end.... but if i picked one it would either be The misadventures of Sabin
 One Starring shadow, or one Starring Kain. But if i had to see one continued in tv not just a particular character, FF9 or FF6  -------------------- This one time I punched a bear in the forehead TO DEATH! I still have the scars on my chest. I'd say FF6. Or a television version of 8BT.

I would have one that is almost a mix of the games, like where sabin and zell and barret have to make alliances to defeat an ultimate evil formed by the evil golbez/edea/sepiroth alliance.(or something like that...)

FF has already had an anime movie and TV series. The former was loosely based on FFV, the latter I dunno. I hear that both were mediocre at best.

Hmmm i have been thinking about this for a while. Remember the TV series "The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones" they could easily make one like that about Locke. All his adventures and treasure hunting prior to FF6

Yeah personally I think the show would be based loosely based on FF6 starring either Locke or Shadow. Going through there lives.

Or how Terra's life was between her being a baby and being the age where the game starts. I mean, you can't tell me they either kept a slave collar on her for about 15 years, or she agreed to growing up with those sick pups in Vector. There would have to be some condition that she would stay right? Also what about all the espers that were drained like, right next door to the Imperial palace. You've got to tell me she felt somthing right? Tritoch did all that to her but none of the lab espers messed with her in a similar way?

I think that squenix would follow its tried and true method of inventing something compleatly new, instead of makeing a sequal to an older game. I am sure, however, that on of the programs main charecters would be named Cid.
  Unfortunately, I tend to agree with Rubicant and Zephir, that it would be angsty teen nonsense. Then again, when Dragon Warrior had its own cartoon (long time ago), it was just a regular kids cartoon. So maybe the enix side (enix made Dragon Warrior) of squenix would that influence over the imaginary project. .......Someone can correct me if I'm wronge about enix haveing made Dragon Warrior; It's been years since I played that game. |

At a first glance, the idea would be pretty cool. But when you think about it, something like that would just trivialize and eventually ruin FF by making it nothing more than a little kids' thing. It's like when they make action figures of Animes and R-rated movies.

The anime i've never seen but the movie was okay. It was abut aliens that invaded the earthand they needed to find special spirits to stop them.

The anime was pretty stupid; it didn't have much of a plot, as I recall, and it wasn't based on any of the games. I really didn't like the movie. The graphics were neat, and I guess the premise was, but...urk...ugh...painful memories. Never mind.

Final Fantasy: Unlimited was the name of one of the anime and it did suck through most of it, although there were some episodes that made it worth the while. After the first two episodes you can skip to near the end because they're all practically the same, just new summons every episode. There were 26 eps in all and I think 5 of them were worth watching. Kinda sad.

I've watched the Final Fantasy anime it is something of a sequel to FFV. It isn't all that good. Don't bother wasting your money on it. The main character is (if I'm remembering right) a boy who came from the line of the heroes in FFV (Butz and Lenna maybe? Butz and Faris?). There is a woman pirate character in it (I guess supposed to be like Faris). Like I sez, rent it if you want, just I wouldn't waste my money buying it.

Heres a funny list of crap they could make:
Locke's Magic: Lock puts on magic shows making valuable things... DISSAPEAR. Sabin on movie; Big Bad Bastards: Sabin tries to kill the largest of Behemoth and Dragons alone... and fails miserably. Terra-ble: Terra tries to be evil. they wont make one on mainstream because it wuldnt pull in the ratings and also the movie has put a bad name on bringing FF to the tube
