I've been a loyal fan to this game even when the micro transactions were ridiculous. But of course Square-Enix has done everything to fix the mistakes including the overpriced micro transactions over time. Only problem is Cloud is kinda lost in limbo for those who never got him unlike Squall. I barely use Cloud despite having him I main Terra of course. But if I'm allowed to share my Switch code let me know. if anyone here wants to shoot me a Switch friend request let me know here if I'm allowed to post my code as I don't just accept rendom requests on Switch. I'll edit my Switch code in this post if it's ok let me know.

I've never played it--mostly because I'd heard the microtransactions were out of control--but it's been in my periphery for a while. If they ever ditch microtransactions entirely, I'd probably give it a shot.

I was interested in it when it first came out, but I also was put off by the microtransaction pieces and I already have Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and had pre-ordered the new tracks as well. So I don't see me jumping into this any time soon but I'm glad they're improving it for those who play.

Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN?

In the intervening 2 years, I finally managed to play some Chocobo GP (obviously local, single-player in this case), and I can see both why someone would enjoy it but also why they dropped it. I very much enjoyed the FF trappings, but in the end the racing just couldn't compete with the latest Mario Kart.
