Is it me? or has the battle music actually gotten better?

It's different, but I wouldn't say better. Not that it's worse, but the classic FFVII themes still take the cake over CC's tunes. While some of them, such as the above remixed battle tracks are great, I think the whole soundtrack of CC had too much of a twangy rock feel, as opposed to the more down to earth, setting appropriate music of the original FFVII.

No, I think that FFVII's Battle Themes and other things are a lot better than this. I may be biased as I oppose rock, but this is an opinion, so really, it can't be biased
