OK, so you've beaten everything in the world of ruin, got all the treasures from Kefka's tower, and now all you have to do is beat the game.
How do you equip your guys for your final assault on Kefka's tower? Here's how I do it in my really old game where I've got literally EVERYTHING, including all of Strago's lores. Nobody gets the paladin shield or snow muffler?
 I can't recall what each person wears, but I usually end up with the following three parties: Terra, Locke, Sabin, Strago Mog, Relm, Setzer, Cyan Gogo, Umaro, Gau, Edgar First party is a good mix of spellcasting and melee, second party usually goes through with the moogle charm (but I keep relm in there for good spellcasting ability on the boss fights), and the third party is just a fun thing I do. "The Freaks" ... with edgar telling them what to do! |

how did you get two tiger claws as far as i know you can only get one, same with the dragon fangs. also how did you get the merit award and the Excalibur, i was not aware these itmes where even in the game.

Colosseum: Cat Hood > Merit Award.
Tiger Fangs steal from GtBehemoth. Defeat Goddess in Kefka's Tower for the Excalibur. Anyway, I'll post mine when I finish my new game. And uh...you need more Snow Mufflers...and Marvel Shoes! -------------------- The Arcana are the means by which ALL is revealed. |

Your equipment shows a hint of personal touch rather then hitting the 'Optimum' button, and that's good. What I would change is:
Sabin should trade the Regal Crown for a Red Cap Celes, Relm and Terra should all trade their headgear for the Mystery Veil (worse defenses but Speed boost and 10 % Mblock) Shadow can lose the Strato for something less boring. Consider a Sniper or a Pearl Lance. I'd also swap the Scimitar for a Wing Edge but that's up to you. Gogo should definately have a Merit Award to make up for his sucky equipment. If you don't want that, nix the Dark Gear and use a Tao Robe for increased everything. I can't approve of any Setzer who isn't a Dragoon, to be honest, but do whatever you feel like. Good enough otherwise, though. -------------------- |

My save file got erased a long time ago. However I do remember Mog, here is how I had him equiped:
Weapon: Aura Lance Sheild: Paladin Shield Helmet: Genji Helmet Armor: Snow Muffler Relics: Safety Bit Ribbon. Why did I equip him like this? Look again, he is almost invincable. One HP damage for physical attacks and immunity or abosortion to all elemental damage. No status ailments can hit him and nither can the instant death attacks. The only problem is with non-elemental spells and even then I can just use Cure 3 and I am fine again. Super Mog to the rescue  . my edgar is at lvl 99, and the atma weapon paired with the offering soes quadruple-quadruple 9's.
