I mean no offense, but...is it just me or does anyone else end up thinking of Medusa when seeing that hairdo?

In a way I think what you've just drawn could actually be adjusted with a few tweaks to draw Medusa (as in the mythical snake-haired monster lady) and it'd actually work out rather well. Particularly with the threatening look in the second pic.
