I know it's too much to hope for, but an HD remaster of at least the first game in the series would be a day-one purchase for me. Perhaps the recent success of the Resident Evil 2 remake has Square Enix thinking! But, in reality, I'm guessing it's just in preparation for a digital re-release for the PlayStation store. Still cool for an under-loved series but not nearly as interesting, I'm afraid. -------------------- "To create something great, you need the means to make a lot of really bad crap." - Kevin Kelly Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? |

Square Enix is the only company that has a genre of its own: the JRPG.
Now SE is also Tomb Raider, Hitman, just cause or sleeping dogs. ________________________________________________________________________________ (spam) This post has been edited by Neal on 3rd March 2019 17:35 -------------------- . |

I would still be happy with a PlayStation store release, although an HD remaster would be nice. Capcom also recently released Onimusha, so maybe more companies are looking back at older games and considering what to do with them.
