How cruel were you to your PC?

...Specifically, did you hold X the entire game and keep them running? Or did you let them relax once in a while and just saunter?
...I was a "Constantly hold down the run button" guy. So which is it? What combination of the two? -------------------- X is blue. |

For 7. Held X the whole time. (I don't remember off the top of my head if this game ever had a single moment where it was better to walk then run).

I recently forced FF7 to run at 720p for hours on end on my PC, but given that it was the mid-2010s I don't think it was all that cruel.

Kept them running except for the one time it's required to walk and maybe that one step puzzle in he Shinra Mansion.

Actually my impulse reaction was that it was about running pc games that run up the edge of your system specs Crysis style.
