Me again, I was digging through some of the older topics here for lack of anything better to do with my time, and I came across a post somewhere by someone(alas, my memory fails me) who suggested it would be cool if someone drew Kefka as he appeared in the final battle. So I ran with that idea, hopped into Photoshop and this was churned out about 6 straight hours later.

..My hand is killing me.

This is very nice! I really like the charcoal look of it, especially on the near wing, where it's textured very well.

Yeah, both me and Bum's Rush have submitted similar fanarts recently of the final Kefka, so maybe that's where the idea came from.

I don't feel quite like writing a big fat critique, so I'll just jot down some quick things.

*The texture of the piece is nice, has quality that reminds me of pastels

*The complementary colours make the figure of Kefka stand out more (the shades and tints of purple on the yellow background)

*The overall anatomy is fairly good except for the neglect of the twisting of the lower torso (because the legs are in a different direction and the turn should start near the hips)

A very strong piece of Kefka fanart.

Whoa, you did that on the computer?
Very nice. There is something very appealing about the texture of it.
Facial expression's kinda creepy.
That feather ticks me off, but it's Kefka, so it belongs.

Indeed. Its incredibly nice. I Like how it follows the Top tier Structure of Kefka almost to perfection. The background imitates the pastelish yellow of the game completely. My only SLIGHT problem, very little, is that he doesn't seem menacing enough. But I'm a loser Kefka Fan Boy so you can probably diesregard that. .

I think it deserves yo be in the fan art section.

I like how you captured the greatness of his final form, while retaining some of the attributes that makes Kefka look like a madman. The texture is really great, and I especially like the background (it's simple, but really reflects the final battleground)

I love your style. Keep it up. If you take suggestions, then I suggest making an Edgar one. That'd be freakin' sweet!

Alrighty...Edgar's certainly do-able. I'll add it to my ever-growing list of things to do. Maybe something a bit more dynamic than this though, the composition of this piece is bothering me quite a bit now. He's just sort of..floating there, possibly thinking about how cool lightning magic is.

...yeahhh. Might redo this later, put him in the background with some of the good guys in the foreground, maybe someone attacking him directly... that might be a bit more interesting.

that is without a doubt the absolute best kefka art i've seen. it's even better than the image they used in the game!! and i mean no offense with this but something bothers me about the face... i can't put my finger on it, but I think the nose is too big.... could just be me but good job!
