Not to be confused with 'The Persona Topic'.
I've asked this before so I'll ask again. I'm not afraid of the answer. How much help do you need with any game to complete it? If you're into game programming and/or working on your own game the question might not apply. Though if you've had enough experiences with gaming, did you need help from an outside source? How decisive was it? Did it happen quickly? Effectively? Basically, what is your upper limit? As for myself I'd say I'm more effective than quick. Against any rehash. ![]() Edit-also, I've posted this elsewhere so I'm not discriminating against CoN. What kinds of responses are you getting from those other places? I'm still having trouble grasping what you're going for here. Here's where I'm getting hung up:
1. If you develop games, you would never need outside help with any game? Is that what you're implying? 2. If you haven't had "enough experiences" with gaming, you wouldn't need outside help? 3. If you're getting outside help, would the speed and efficacy of that help hinge not only on the source of the outside help, but your own ability to locate a source for that help? 4. How can one set an "upper limit" on a qualitative answer? -------------------- "To create something great, you need the means to make a lot of really bad crap." - Kevin Kelly Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? |

Thanks, Rangers 51. You've been a great deal of help and I mean it.
![]() Now would anyone else like to take a stab at this? -------------------- https://www.youtube.com/user/Greatermaxim Terra - LV 99 - HP 9999 - MP 999 Equipment - - - Abilities Illumina - - - - - Fight Genji Shield - - Morph Oath Veil - - - - Magic Minerva - - - - - Item Ribbon Economizer |

Um, okay, but I didn't answer your question, Mainly because I still have no idea what you're asking. -------------------- "To create something great, you need the means to make a lot of really bad crap." - Kevin Kelly Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? |

This is difficult for me, because I'm not a great gamer, but I also like to take my time while I'm playing a game. In other words, I'm not playing for challenge. Since this is supposed to be personal, I'll make it personal: if I'm given the option to make the game easier, I'll go for the easiest setting. I tend to play games on the easiest setting, or I'll over-level in RPGs because I guess I'm just playing it for the experience of playing, and feeling bad___.
For instance, one of the coolest experiences in recent memory for me was playing Red Dead Redemption on easy with the auto aim feature on. It made me feel like Clint Eastwood at the end of Unforgiven. So, yeah, I'm the guy that will play Bioshock Infinite on easy (then get ticked off in the final battle... talk about needing outside help!) or log in 18-20 hours in Shadow of the Colossus... I hope that answers the question... maybe... -------------------- |
