I just remembered something about the ending of FF III on the SNES. Why is it that no one on the airship asks where is Gogo or Shadow? Did the party just leave them or did they know their situations and realized leaving them at Kefka's tower was for the best for them?

It's assumed that Shadow told everyone of his decision, I think. Or, everyone realizes that he was bound to go his own way anyway and that it was best for him like that.
But, isn't Gogo on the airship at the end? I can't recall off the top of my head. -------------------- "To create something great, you need the means to make a lot of really bad crap." - Kevin Kelly Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? |

Well, I recently just finished Japanese tranlastion of the game (the one without the US edits) and I didn't see Gogo there. During the escape of Kefka's tower, he fell down some hole, and we never see him again, I believe. As for Shadow, it makes sense that they would leave him in the tower since he's so mysterious that he probably would have left them during the escape anyway. And you may be right, he might have told someone to leave him, but didn't he say that when the Floating Continent was crumbling? Yet there was option of waiting for Shadow then.

Hence why I said it was "implied." Use your imagination. -------------------- "To create something great, you need the means to make a lot of really bad crap." - Kevin Kelly Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? |

Well, when it comes to the mysteries of FF III, I guess they require your imagination to make sense out of them anyway. But thanks for your input.
