I have two questions about Dissidia: Is it any good, and on what console is it played?

Depends on who you ask.
Some of the characters are terrible.I think that squall is turned into an emo jerk in the dissidia, and in the original ff8 he was never like this.Kefka:He was turned into a wimp who was stepped on by every other villain.Sure he was a wimp when he was a mortal, but he was less wimpy when he was a god. -------------------- We are stardust. Our bodies are made from the guts of exploding stars. To finish answering your question, both Dissidia games are on the PSP. The games are 3D fighters - they have a lot of little things that make them distinctly Square games, but at their core, they're 3D fighters.
I've generally heard that the stories involved are a bit awkward, but they're not actually Final Fantasy games, really. Any story at all is generally more than what you would get in most similar games, and it's probably best to not get too hung up on what the story does if you decide to play them. -------------------- "To create something great, you need the means to make a lot of really bad crap." - Kevin Kelly Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? |
