Here is a top ten faveourite male heros. That being said, they do not have to be the main character. They do however, have to stay in your party for a magority of the game. Here's mine:
10. Balthier (FF12) I really like his personallity, espcially when he first meets Vaan. 9. Edgar (FF6) "And that my friends, is why i Can't stand men" That made me LOL When i first saw that line. 8. Kain (FF4) Awsome character, but has no memorable lines. 7. Edge (FF4) "No use arguing with a woman" and "Hey! You were supposed to leave him for me!" 6. Setzer (FF6) "Always follow your nose" 5. Magus (CT) No really many lines, magus is just a badass. ![]() 4. Galuf (FF5) "If you won't dress like a woman, at least act like one. It's a shame to hide such assets" LMAO 3. Sazh (FF13) "I'm gettin to old for this." Lol, aren't we all. 2. Strago magus (FF6) "A KID like me dosen't know the meaning of defeat!" Face it u are 90! 1. THE WINNER IS.....LOCKE! 10. Hope
This kid is really strong. He is around twelve years old when he is suddenly forced into an adult situation by the violent death of his mother; and he dealt with it rather well, in my opinion. He could have done better, but he got better, so I appreciate that. 9. Onion Knight He would probably be higher on my list if I knew more about him. Altogether, though, he seems pretty cool. 8. Edward He is underrated in my opinion. He started out a serious wimp; but ended up being actually quite brave, if useless in a fight. Even if he blended right in with the women of Toroia, he was still a pretty decent character. 7. Sabin A very cool PC. Personally, I find him more useful as a PC than relatable, but others may feel differently. I find his relationship with his brother a very nice addition to the story, though, as a literal sibling relationship is something that had not been done in FF before. He is also a martial artist. Martial arts are cool. 6. Strago He is just plain cool. He is this cranky old man who is just awesome as a PC and really cool as a story element. He sort of reminds me of the First Doctor in Doctor Who in that way. His devotion to his (possibly adoptive) granddaughter is also very endearing. 5. Locke One of the most relatable heroes in the history of FF. His backstory is a little cliché, but it works. His pursuit of Celes is also romantic, and did a lot for her, I think. Celes would have still been the messed-up, battle-scarred general (if not dead) if it had not been for Locke. 4. Cyan He is a sort of cross between a knight and a samarai, which I like. He hates technology, which I find amusing. He dealt incredibly well with his losses, really. I sort of like how he starts out speaking (poorly written) Shakespearean English, and over time starts to speak Modern English. It is a nice touch. It is sort of like he is getting used to the outside world. 3. Glenn He is a knight, he wields a sword worthy only for a hero, he speaks Early Modern English, and he is frog. You have got to love it. All of the Glenn cutscenes are basically awesome, and he has some of the most knightly-looking Techniques, and he is a frog. What more do you want? 2. Galuf Possible spoilers: highlight to view His sacrifice is one of the saddest videogame moments out there. I had seen videogame characters die before; but even the death in FF6 was not nearly this tragic, in my opinion. I was so heartbroken when he died, because it was just so very well executed. He was at zero hit points for the entire battle, yet he kept going, because he had to. I think my brain exploded. 1. Cecil So this guy pretty freaking awesome. He started as a Dark Knight; but then defeated his dark side and became a Paladin, a sacred knight, the antithesis of a Dark Knight. He walked right into Mysidia, even though he figured everyone would probably kick his butt, because he knew that any harm that might come to him would be just, and that Mysidia was the only place where he could get the help he needed. Therefore, he humbled himself and just walked in, ready take any earned abuse for the sake of doing what is right. Then he climbed a freaking MOUNTAIN ok I have to stop i could go on forever ![]() |
