My personnal fav is Locke in terms of personality.
Sabin in terms of character abilities.
And Edgar in terms of playability.
I also like Shadow because ninjas are just cool.

I pretty much love the whole main cast except for Relm and Strago.

If I had to pick one favorite, I'd go with Celes since she's the one I think of first when I think FF6. I absolutely love her story and even though they chose Terra to represent FF6 in Dissidia, I think Celes is the true MC. My favorite moments in the game tend to revolve around her: Locke's scenario, the Opera House, the Magitek Factory, waking up in the WoR. I also have a weakness for strong female protagonists.

Close second would have to be Locke because back when I first played this game back in grade school, I was a hopeless romantic just like him. He's also far deeper than he originally appears. At first you think he's just a womanizer until you find out about his past and suddenly it makes sense why he is so keen on protecting Terra and Celes.

I would always name myself after Sabin, as a kid I loved using the input controls for his combo attacks. I also loved that he was living off in solitude up in the mountains training, i was always fascinated by them type of characters. Probably why I would always name my second favourite character Shadow after my good friend Ben.
