I worked really hard to get strong, and i can 1 shot a lot of enemies. Some have become a joke, a few are unbeatable for me.With hastega and 255 agility and 255 strength, i can kill ironclad before he even gets a turn.I get 10 turns in a row, and fenrir has trouble avoiding my hits, especially since i got 150 accuracy on 3 characters.

I do wish i could get more stat spheres per drop. Also:Almost got ribbon number 2 without even trying, which makes me a little happy.I am working on maxing evade and defense currently. After those, i will work on magic defense.I admit on using walkthroughs, but only because it would be impossible without it.

Soon i will attack shinryu for wings to discovery. If it takes too long, i will do bribes.

I have a question:do multiple characters with gillionaire stack?
I have extra wallets unused.

Also:I didn't know snelga dropped pendulums.

Hey Magi, I'm a little rusty on this but your post seems to be about the endgame, or postgame.. am I right in thinking this?

If you remember.
you can't do these stuff till after yunalesca. Also:Always pick up the sun crest before leaving, or you have to kill dark bahamut. That is if it is the european, or international version.
Possible spoilers: highlight to view

I guess endgame? I got a few things left to do:
Kill all dark aeons.
Get the rest of my team maxed like my first 3.
Kill shinryu and nemesis.
Get break hp limit and ribbon for everyone.
Kill yu yevon and watch the ending.

One funny thing:Seymour is a joke with break damage limit and dealing 99999, but its fun to watch.

Aha, do you always max out characters and try to do super bosses/post game stuff before finishing the story? The final story battle is so much easier than Dark Aeons, man, I'd do that first.
I never beat all the dark Aeons and got to Penance and all that stuff, my completionist's OCD is still haunting me years later, haha.
also perhaps
Possible spoilers: highlight to view
Yu Yevon references
should go in a spoiler because that's not known to the player for most of the game.

Unfortunately, with break damage limit the engame boss is a joke too. I believe it was made to be challenging without finding the extra hidden weapons. Which is a shame.

I'm back with FFX, and farming jumbo slimes.Takes forever to drop em, and then they drop dark matter for me, which i suppose is good luck.

I would agree with this. The conclusion of the story - which is truly phenomenal - will mean more if you don't delay it too much (you want the characters and events to remain fresh in your mind, after all).

I just beat FFX.The ending was not bad, but the ending was kinda silly.

Possible spoilers: highlight to view
Tidus flying in the air, and slapping his dads hands, and jecht, braska and auron were there.

Possible spoilers: highlight to view
Also:I felt sadder when jecht dies, and auron is sent, but i wasn't sad about tidus disappearing.

I didn't see much growth in personality from tidus, or kimahri.I think those two are the worse characters in the game, no make that 4.We see the story of how wakka hates maquina, and albheds. The last change we see, is him finding out his religion was corrupt, and a lie.I also think that not much happens with rikku. She becomes good friends with yuna, but i see far stronger concentration on yuna and auron.I think that yuna is the main character, since she is the most involved.Even jecht has more backstory than tidus.

I think rikkus biggest dramatic part, is the destruction of her albhed home

I didn't see much personality from yu yevon either. It was kinda like jenova, or lavos. We hear a lot about it, but its pretty much a destructive force with no face.We don't know why it is doing it, only how it is doing it.

The gameplay can be fun, but it gets very repetitive to grind for stats.I would have liked it if more dropped in stat spheres. The others are fine.

You can hardly criticise a game for having boring grinding...

Possible spoilers: highlight to view
Also: of course Tidus doesn't have much backstory, he's the product of the Faith's dreaming, until he's yanked out of that unreality into Spira proper. The beginning of the game is in fact, Tidus' birth.

Your point about Yu Yevon is just plain wrong, man.. The reason for his actions is given, he doesn't need to have much of a personality, that's not his role in the game. In fact, his personality/form/ability to even speak have been eroded over time.

Blinge's got it right.

First, 'boring' and 'grinding' are synonymous.

As Blinge said, Tidus' 'existence' more or less begins with the game. We hear all about his childhood, his love for his mother and hatred of his father, and the generally spoiled attitude he has developed based on his essentially being a child prodigy. He's young; of course there isn't much more. If Jecht has more backstory, a statement I would disagree with, it's only because Jecht had already been in Spira before the main story began - most information concerning Jecht took place only in backstory.

That said, I can't see how you couldn't notice Tidus' character growth. He began the game spoiled, somewhat selfish, and generally imbecilic. Over the course of the pilgrimage, he found his strength, learned how to rely on others and be, in turn, relied on by them. He found love and fought for it, along with a cause he believed in, even knowing that it would cost his own life. Sure, his character doesn't make a 180 degree change, but would something any more drastic have been realistic?

Finally, as Blinge also mentioned, we do actually know a bit about Yu Yevon. While this information is admittedly meager, it is essentially related to the central ideas of the game. Rather than explain here, I advise you to consult the Yu Yevon FFwiki entry. (Sorry CoN :/ ) I'm actually writing a little something-something on the topic right now that I hope to post to CoN in the next couple days.

I read the ff wiki, and i think his idea was pretty evil.It says he became a mindless entity just like sinh.I remember the part where it explained that yu yevon was once a human summoner.I'm wondering if there is an explanation as to his hatred of technology. Also:Why didn't wisps come out of him when he died lik the others? Weird black things came out of him.
