There is a game called Super Mario Bros. Crossover made by a guy named Jay Pavlina. It was originally a remake of Super Mario Bros. with the option of playing as different 8 Bit characters till 2.0 was added with skins option to play as Gameboy and 16 bit forms of characters as well as skins for the levels as well. But the real Cave of Narshe related news here is 2.1 just got a release featuring a Ryu Hayabusa skin of Shadow along with FF6 music set. If OK I'll post a link to my next post.
