Is there really a book that goes on about kefka-s story?
http://forums.ffextreme.com/classics/4687-...e-better-3.html I read it from here.Says that he was raped and beaten by the orphanage head master,and then he eventually left that orphanage traumatized and quiet.Supposedly he then got an injection of magic after quickly rising,and he went nuts and killed another high ranked soldier.At the time,kefka was supposedly by gestahl-s side,and was high ranked.Kefka then supposedly was demoted in rank a few times,and leo meanwhile took the rank.I also heard that celes getting the rank of admiral made him finally snap. If it does exist, it won't be even the slightest bit official but written by someone in their bedroom.

Some of that sounds familiar....
I think it was from the FFVI Ultimania, which means that it's in Japanese only. Bear in mind that the Ultimanias are always released YEARS after the original games and don't always reflect the character designer's intent. -------------------- HSUP B TCELES |

The guys actually won an argument proving kefka to have character development.
I thought that was pretty amusing,and the story is also interesting.Kefka raped by the headmaster of the orphanage? Mother 2 or Earthbound the final battle is actually a representation of the directors shock and horror of walking into a theater in Japan showing a violent rape scene. I feel like Shadow and Kefka somehow know each other and there is a huge back story that the game never went into. Perhaps one day we will get a prequel?
