Not often I get to post in this forum, but my friend Eddie and I have been doing a video games podcast for a few months now and as we're about to hit double digits in episode numbers, I figured it was about time to advertise a bit. We're very free-flowing, discussing our current obsessions, relevant video game news, and going on some random tangents and rants. We have fun doing it, so hopefully people would have fun listening to it.

Hey, put the cellphone down for a while
In the night there is something wild
Can you hear it breathing?
And hey, put the laptop down for a while
In the night there is something wild
I feel it, it's leaving me

I should probably mention that I've been listening to these podcasts for a few months now, and they're very solid. Neal and Eddie possess a good knowledge base and have great commentary and repartee; the show's format is solid and versatile; and the length (usually right around 45-65 minutes) is just like a woman's skirt: long enough to cover the essentials but short enough to stay interesting. That last bit is key - I get annoyed when podcasts last 2+ hours, and if it's under 30 minutes it probably isn't worth it. Games Bucket is usually just over or just under an hour, which is quite palatable indeed.

In a few recent episodes Neal touted Ys: The Oath in Felghana quite a bit. On that recommendation I just went and bought it over Steam. So I guess the podcast has accomplished something?
