I really loved FFVI's ending. It fit everything just perfectly.

I went with 7. I think the first FMV ending plus the plot wrap-up was enough to put it in #1. It was tough not to pick the cursive The End from the original FF tho.

FFVI had the best ending. well in my opinion. it showed all the characters, was 21:30 mins long, and was absolutely awesome

FFTA had a cool ending and after you beat it

FFTA also had a good story as well.

i mean she thought he was dead and she was sad and then when he came back she didnt care and when she droped he crown she kept running and would not stop until she was in his arms. i wish i had someone like that.... i want to cry right now. well this is the end of the best spoiler ever!

As far as FF7 went that would probably have to be my fav. over all,and the reason is because of the fatc that I liked it leaving questions unanswered...that's why they are making a sequel and he only reason they had to make a sequel movie is because the stupid Japanese insisted that they finally release the game after Squaresoft delayed it for so long...it had a force release before it was finished so you really didn't even get the entire game in the first place...for example,notice the Third disc was very very short compared to the othersand also when you go into the the church in Midgar where you met Aerith after Aerith's death it shows a clip of her ghost and then she vanishes...rumor has it originally you were supposed to be able to res her back to life,and where later on in the game you can see the white Materia but you can never get to it...technically there was no point to white materia because no one was ever able to use it...so yes it left you wanting more because it was never finished.However if you felt like things were unfinished check out the sequel movie Final Fantasy VII Advent Children...it's supposed to release this summer. (Also,her name IS Aerith not Aeris...the reason why it was spelled Aeris in the game was because there were no American English translators...they were all Asian so they translated the name wrong.)

As i have already posted in another topic, you see Tidus trying to hold Yuna even though he can't. He runs and jumps of the airship. You see Auron, Braska & Jecht all there. Then Tidus gives a high-five to his dad. Truley touching. Also, auron's last words, "This is your world now." Also, seeing yuna whistling on the dock. And to quote yuna's final speech "... and those people that have been lost, and the dreams that have faded... never forget them."

FFIX was also good, but nowhere near X's.

I can't really say because I've only beaten two FF games. The best ending that I have gotten to, would have to be FF6. Great ending! Nice and long, with wonderful, just wonderful music!!!

Heh, I saw the ending for FFX-2, when you get 100%... lmao, it is so retarded. What an ending...

The game itself is not what is in question, which I feel is a misconception of the thread. Some, not all obviously, is just "vote for your favorite game".

FF8, while a fairly lacking game in itself, went all out and over the top in the ending. Very long, well orchestrated, and at the time I found it visually amazing. The game's ending and the game itself are not comparable in this case.

For the record, I voted for 9, which I thought was close to perfect. For me, anyways.

For me, it was hard to choose between FF6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. I narrowed it down to 7,8 or 9, then realized that 9's ending had the most emotional impact on me, so I picked that one.

(I've also finished FF4 and FFX-2, but those endings weren't among my favourites.)
