Bryan Adams - Everything I Do. Sure, I know it's overplayed, but I can't help but love the song. It's well-written and well-sung.
-------------------- Hey, put the cellphone down for a while In the night there is something wild Can you hear it breathing? And hey, put the laptop down for a while In the night there is something wild I feel it, it's leaving me |

Coldplay's "Sparks" is the first one that came to mind; after that, the song I'll always remember is the first one my wife and I danced to, "Fade" by Mazzy Star.

VD doesn't mean Valintine's day, it mean VD, so wrap it up kids.
Anyway getting to the topic, I don't really like many love songs unless it's somthing by the Cranberries. My most emorale moments with love ones are made to somthing heavier that usually focuses on bondage anger and hate. -------------------- At times one remains faithful to a cause only because its opponents do not cease to be insipid. I'm going through my playlist to try and find another... "Ice Cream" by Sarah McLaughlin "The Rose" Bette Midler "Lilly" Smashing Pumpkins Those are a few that come to mind ^-^ -------------------- I had an old signature. Now I've changed it. |

You know, I had never been a Weezer fan until I heard that song. I love the multiple solos that play all at once. Usually I don't like too many guitars playing together, but it sounds great in that song.
I forgot to mention Marilyn Manson's cover of Tainted Love. Catchiest.Song.EVER. -------------------- Okay, but there was a goat! |

Anything by Michelle Branch is good and might not strike such a romantic note but still i like the mood they set, but right now I think my Fav would be
Enigma - Gravity of Love I can't rav enough about this song and if I did I think I would get banned. Its just a great song.... -------------------- We all have our own hells and fires we must pass through, but when you have passed through them, you must ask yourself. Was I consumed by the flame? "For Emily, Wherever I May Find Her" - Simon and Garfunkel "Kathy's Song" - Simon and Garfunkel "Dearest Esmeralda" - John Denver "Fly Me to the Moon" - Frank Sinatra "Lady-O" - The Turtles "I Can Give You the Starlight" - Ivor Novella "Present" - Kouichi Yamadera "If" - Bread Yes, they're a little old, but they're so very beautiful. Plus: The Police - Every Breath You Take Edwin McCain - I'll Be / Could Not Ask for More Jeff Healey Band - Angel Eyes Dave Matthews Band - Crush Peter Frampton - Baby I Love Your Way The Beatles - 'Til There Was You (there are more, of course, but this is my favourite 'romantic' one) Eagles - Hotel California (maybe not especially romantic, but it IS the sexiest song ever) -------------------- I close my mouth now and I scream, Open the door, there's nothing worth redeeming I saw your face before in rough, You should wait around a while, your body's bound to turn up. Anything by Alison Krauss, my favorite would have to be "Stay" from the album "Forget about it". Sean Forrest also has a lot of good love songs. What makes them so good is that they are real, They're just real life wholesom songs that a husband would sing to a wife.

"Falling for You" and "Only in Dreams" by Weezer. Â <- Nice choice DF.
"The Set Up (You Need This)" by Reel Big Fish "Uncalm" by 311 "The Luckiest" by Ben Folds I don't know if this could be exactly classified as a love song, but I think "Potato Girl" by Our Lady Peace would fit in. These are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head right now. I'll edit some more in later. -------------------- "It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it." - Aristotle |

This is not really a lov song at all, more a song a mother would sing to her son. I'm not one for country music but I feel in love with this song "Good Speed" (Sweet dreams) By the Dixie Chicks It's a song I'de sing to my son(s) some day when tucking them in at night.Or Tora Lora Lora.. It's a good old Irish Lulabye

Well first lets start with the Beatles love songs
1. All of the pop love ones... a. you know "she loves you yeah yeah yeah" and "All we need is love" kind of songs the earlier stuff. 2. Then we have more of the classics like... a. Hey Jude b. Martha c. Michelle my Bell. And that is just a few of the many love songs they wrote. Then we have Weezer (Goat Punishment). 1. The Blue Album a. Buddy Holly b. No one Else c. The World has Turned and left me here. 2. Pinketon a. Dare I say every single one (yes I do) 3. The Green Album and Maladroit (there just not as good but still ok) a. Photograph bahhh they all sound the same b. Possibilities c. Burnolt Lamb (??? what dose it mean ???) Micheal Jackson (we know he is a bit eccentric at times but his music is good. Right?) 1. It dosen't matter every damn song from Thriller, Bad, the one after and before those two is good. Queen (look to Micheal Jackson) there just good. Plain good. Except "Who wants to live forever" that one is just bad. -------------------- aint superstitious Black cat crossed my trail I aint superstitious But a Black cat crossed my trail But Lord has got me so far and I wont let her stop me now The dogs begin to bark all over my neighborhood And that aint all The dogs begin to bark all over my neighborhood UMmHMm This is a mean old world to live in and I cant face it by myself |
