Hey guys,

I have the psx version of FF VI and i am just at the moment lvling up my characters b4 i enter kefkas tower. I lvl up in the dino forrest. People claim that if u kill the branchosaurs u get a econiminizor relic which i need. I have killed at least 5 becoz they are rare enemies. And it hasnt dropped one  i even tried converting it into an item using the esper ragnarok and didnt get one someone plz help me.
O and i cant be bothered looking for aquila in the pheonix cave because they rarely appear. I could bet my strato and steal from the aquila to get an econiminzor but then how do i get more startos?

you will eventually get an economizor from a brachosaur, its random though, good items dont come easy. as for the strato, im quite sure you can get them in the colloseum. i used to have a list of EVERYTHING you can get there, but i think you oughtta just wait for master zed. hes an ff6 encyclopedia.

There is a list of the stuff that one can win in the Colosseum.  Just a bit of searching in that list can get you the information you need.  Winning Economizers from Brachosaurs is simply very rare, so you'll just have to stick it out if you really want one.

Definitely bet the Strato.  That will get you a Pearl Lance which you can then bet for your Strato back.

And if you lose a battle, you can steal Auras from Retainers, which can be bet for Stratos.  Yeah, they're in Kefka's Tower, but there's no need to face any bosses to get to these particular heathens, or if you're adamant about not going in, you can bet a Genji Shld to meet Retainer in the Collosseum, after which you can bet the Thunder Shld you get for your Genji Shld back (I don't recommend that though, since both Retainer and Outsider, in the Collosseum, are free to use Tradeoff and Ruin on you at any time, you'll need high M.Block for those fights, assuming you care about that Thunder Shld or Genji Shld at all).  Also, winning the battle is not a requirement, just steal the Economizer and it doesn't matter if Gogo or Locke get ripped to shreds afterward.

thx i used the pearl lance starto method and finally got 3 econominizor one for each terra, relm, celes so each one will go in a group for kefkas tower thx all u guys i owe ya.
