Did anyone notice that the father looks like crocodile dundee? he is also really cool and saves his own sons.

You only get to use him at the very, very beginning. Then he leaves your party. He reminded me of Dad in Final Fantasy Legend II, except you only get him at the beginning instead of only at the end.

This is kinda unrelated to the topic but the existence of the topic put it to mind. How is it that you're playing Mother 3? I believe it never had a stateside release. Is there an English European version about somwhere?

A LOT of people emulated it. The good people over at starmen.net got a translation out three years ago or so. Mother 3 is worth checking out - I think it's even a little better than Earthbound.

Yeah, Flint is pretty badass. What other RPG has a character use a *two by four* as a weapon? Too bad Claus goes on without his dad, because he'd have made a great permanent addition to the party.
Not really relevant to his badassyness but... But yes, it's a great game. Definitely among the best game I've ever played. |
