Here's the deal... I just got a new Docsis 3.0 modem for my 30 Mbps connection... when I test my connection speed on my laptop the download speed is (22-28 Mbps), but when I test it on my PS3 its (4-8 Mbps) average. I've already tried wired connection and modem restart, but the download speed remains too low on the PS3. Any ideas?

I would say crowded network. I don't think it's your system, I think it's Playstation Network. When there's an over abundance of users trying to download from the network at once, it goes a lot slower. This can be seen during expansion and large updates to games like World of Warcraft.

Edit
I think even Networks themselves can be set to cap download speeds. Anyone can correct me if I"m wrong about that.

Hi, You try to connect with some other PS3 if the problem still persists, there may be some problem in your connection. If not there me be some problem in your PS3. You can call the technicians assistance for PS3 problem and you can call ISP for connection related problem.
