The bestiary in the GBA version is ordered from common enemies to bosses. I don't have the answer for you because I don't have that bestiary in front of me, but it should be simple to check in your own game.
We don't cover the GBA version at CoN yet, so no, we have yet to check that information and we don't know if it differs from the SNES/PSX versions. We plan to work on this soon. Feel free to send money to speed the process. ![]() -------------------- "To create something great, you need the means to make a lot of really bad crap." - Kevin Kelly Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? |

Use glorious stat bonuses granted by the Espers and reach level 99. You should be able to defeat him easily.
Also, there are 95 bosses in the GBA version, no idea how many for the PS1 or SNES versions. -------------------- Since I advertise CoN there I think it's only fair that I advertise The Wiki here. |

I base all this off of the SNES version, but it should be the same in the GBA version:
For killing Typhoon: Like Mango mentioned, use esper level up bonuses to give someone high speed and strength. The way I did it, which might not be the best way, Possible spoilers: highlight to view is with Locke. I gave him this equipment: Atma Weapon Illumina Red Cap Genji Armor Genji Glove Offering He had 133 vigor and 102 speed and he got first strike less than half the time. And he liked to waste it by Stealing or casting Ultima. But you will beat Chupon 1 to 3 times out of 10. I don't know if that equipment set is good enough without the very high stats though. I got those stats by playing a low level game until the World of Ruin, but they could actually be a few points better. I recall reading that you can get better stats in the GBA version than you can in the SNES version, but I am totally not sure. For gaining levels: Possible spoilers: highlight to view Incidentally, having fewer characters in your party gives you more exp per character, so if someone is on level 99, don't bring them along. He's right. Brachosaurs give you the most exp. of any one enemy, I am pretty sure. And a mob of Tyranosaurs gives you more than that. If you didn't know, you can fight them both north of the Veldt in the World of Ruin. Hoovers are in a desert near Maranda in the World of Ruin, and you can also fight Cactrots/Cactaurs (whichever they are called) there for GP and AP. Also, the enemies near the dinosaurs' forest give you pretty good amounts of exp and won't be able to kill you. I leveled characters one at a time there because I didn't want to risk getting killed by Brachosaurs, who can cast Ultima. Also, be sure to use the Exp Egg. |

Ok well I think the leveling is a little off topic with the boss topic.
Yeah due to the GBA bonus dungeon, the bosses are quite numerous. The Return of the 8 Dragons, the Czar Dragon, the Weapon Guardians, the underground Boss Fire Group and Omega Weapon. As it stands Omega weapon has topple me at every corner and continues to slap me around. So he has my vote as hardest boss -------------------- Kefka's Message of the week: Get off your couch noobs and get my new game Dissidia 012 |

Quote (Tchy @ 29th October 2011 00:33) I never saw any of these bosses and , which bonus dungeon? The dragons dungeon on the GBA version. Possible spoilers: highlight to view It comes up after you defeat the 8 dragons. You then go above the colliseum on a tiny island, and land. From there make groups of three, and you better be decently high levels as well. The dragons alone are unique fights, I.E: The Ice dragon has a copy of four of itself. The Fire dragon can not be injured until it runs out of steam and dies by itself. And the Undead zombie can only be killed by taking away all its MP. The other bosses besides the dragons are easy enough -------------------- Kefka's Message of the week: Get off your couch noobs and get my new game Dissidia 012 |
