Restart FF8 for completion purposes?

I'm about halfway through Disc 3 when I realized I missed the Battle Meter. In fact, I didn't even know it existed until I started looking for missables in FF8.

So, should I restart the game and nab the meter? Or should I just continue on without it?

I know it does very little - I just want it for completion reasons. I'm a huge completionist :V

EDIT: I also missed the Occult Fan II and III, the Pet Nametag, and a few other little items that I need for 100%.

Seems to me that if you're a completionist, you don't have much choice! smile.gif

Of course, that's not my bag, so I wouldn't think my opinion would matter much on it, but I would say not to worry about it. Doesn't seem like it's all that much stuff.

I guess not. Lol. xD

I guess I'll just hold off until 100% until after I finish the other games. tongue.gif

Restart. There's no point getting to the ending, and then feeling like you almost had the perfect game, you'll feel disappointed.

Have you played the game before? If not, I'd suggest doing that to better prepare yourself for the replay -- the going'll be easier armed with foreknowledge (and that missables list, of course).

I suppose Shotty and Zidane both have good points, but I guess if I were a completionist (which I am very much not tongue.gif) I would probably want to restart it now and just be more careful not to consult guides so as to not miss something the second time around, since all that work at the end of the game will just take time away from the second playthrough that it seems you've decided on.
