One thing that has been annoying me lately is that the fanboys talk about secret of mana influencing ff6 and the story being better.

First off:REALLY REALLY? a better story? you got to be kidding me.

First of all:secret of mana has about as much character development as maybe ff2 on the nes or less.

The most developed character is probably the villain and the girl,but other than that:there is no development there.

It is probably one of the worse snes squeenix story games,or maybe secret of evermore.

Both don't have too much story.

2:The sprites:ff6 doesn't have all bright colorful and very anime look,ff6 uses portraits and has a more mature setting than secret of mana.

The enemies look like something from a child's cartoon actually.

3:Story:Its about as vague as it gets:Some evil villain in some empire wants to take over a body of a general of some sort who loves the girl character in our party and wants to use the seeds to get there,the end.

If they had said lufia and lufia 2:ok those games got better development than secret of mana,or at least chrono trigger which is definitely much better game than secret of mana.

Man.. what does this have to do with FF7, and even if you meant FF6 it still makes no sense!

This is more about secret of mana overall,but its about fanboys who compare secret of mana to ff6 and insult fans of ff6 by saying that secret of mana having a deeper story which is a lie.

FF6 fans who want to bash ff7 will say that ff7 is a carbon copy of ff6 in story which:it does have a very similar story structure,plus:Kefka is the first character in final fantas history to become a god.

FF2 nes villain doesn't become a god,he rules all hell meaning he's the devil.

Anyways:this has nothing to do with ff2 nes and i won't even mention it anymore.

Secret of mana has mode 6 was it? a view where you are able to fly diagonally with your dragon and also go up and down with your dragon while in flight.

Sure,its possible ff6 may have borrowed stuff from other games,but it doesn't mean that it would be inferior from taking things and improving on it,otherwise:No game would be considered good except the originals,and that would be false since they do improve on them.

I heard on separate account also that square enix owns the rights to the atb battle system?

When comparing games:ff6 airship has room inside,the dragon from som is only get on fly get off which is exactly the same as ff4 and ff1 airship,all except:ff4 lunar whale.

It is very clear that you live in some imaginary world where everybody hates everything you love, but you have failed to provide instances of this on every occasion.
