Artist's Comments:
This literally took me 10 minutes. Five minutes to draw, and five to color. No planning, no underdrawing just do or die. View Art: http://www.cavesofnarshe.com/fanart/viewart.php?id=1033 |

Wow, that would be impressive for a few hours, but ten minutes? That's really awesome. Nicely done!

Yeah, if this is what you come up with in ten minutes (livestream or didn't happen!), then you need to stop pouring so much time in to your other pieces. This might in fact be my favorite thing I've ever seen you post here. The angularity, particularly of the face and hair, looks fantastic.

Geeez! My goal for a while now has been to increase my turnover rate. It's motivating and encouraging to see someone performing at a level I'd like to be at.

Quote (Rangers51 @ 16th February 2012 11:41) Yeah, if this is what you come up with in ten minutes (livestream or didn't happen!), then you need to stop pouring so much time in to your other pieces. Is that the new "TITS OR GTFO"? To me it's pretty obvious that I spent next to no time applying that pastel (streaky much?). Pastel just doesn't grab me and I don't have the same passion for it as watercolor (my favorite medium). I don't often work in it and it's often frustrating when I'm doing portraits (ah, smudges). -------------------- kame, tortue, tortuga, schildkröte, tartaruga, turtle "Arthur Dent?" "Yes." Wow, Kame, this is really great. I second everything else that has been said in here. If this only took you ten minutes, then I would have to encourage you to do a couple ten-minute FFX pieces
