I just saw The Social Network, and I thought it was fantastic. My only real criticism of it is that they portrayed Mark Zuckerberg as too much of an asshat. (Of course, he may be an asshat in real life, as far as I know.)

Further to this, I don't think Inception or TDK fit. I mean, looking at the others, The Social Network is a scraper and the others are sort of quasi-arty in a nobody quite says anything but say it all kind of way. Also, in my opinion awards are not important, maybe they mean a lot to insiders but for what it's worth Inception and TDK are brilliant and not getting nominated just adds to how good they both were for me. If that isn't any consolation to Nolan then I feel sorry for him, if he doesn't care then good man!

Russell and Hooper shouldn't have been nominated, but of course King's Speech is the tailor-made Oscar film so they had to throw stuff on that. As an actor's director, Russell is good, but as an overall director, he has nothing on Nolan.

Fair enough, but Inception was nominated for best screenplay (Which was Nolan's work) and best picture - an aggregate award but one that certainly is the biggest deal for the director and writer (again, both Nolan). I doubt he feels all that slighted.

Like I said Sherlock Holmes was the only one I saw. So if I liked that are there any other 2010 movies I'd enjoy?

I like stuff that's a combo of funny, romantic and lots of action or at least 2 of the three. Plus I have a guilty habit of liking movies that bombed in the theater.
