I have 2 challenges for you guys.
1) Beating the first battle of Chapter 1 with just Ramza and Delita. 2) Beat the game with using squires and Chemists ONLY.  And also no using main characters, except for Ramza cause  you need to. ive done number 1 before, so anyone want to try it? or any other challenges you had in mind? share them! -------------------- Why do kamakazi pilots wear helmets? |

The battle with Agrias and company is not in chapter 1 -- the battle in Gariland with the Squires and Chemist, however, is.

OK, this one is a tricky one :
beat Nelveska Temple (the battle whith Worker 7new), having found all the hidden treasures (Sasuke Knife, gold Escutcheon, Javelin II and Nagrarock) and managed to invite one of the three headed monster... it took me 3 tries to get it all right (Nagrarock is a pain in the a%% to get, since Worker 7new manage to stay in front of the temple for most of the time...) That one is not for the truly pure warrior : steal all Genji equipment from Elmdor without killing Celia and Lede (they are so pretty, it's a shame to let them transform in Ultima monsters...). One tip for this one : use the knight class ability. Enjoy... |

Heh, I got close to those, wheatsac...I stole all the stuff, but had to kill the assassins to do it, and I got all the stuff but didn't have anyone to invite the three-headed dudes. That's a good idea to get one of them, though, because I'm sure they poach well.
Nagrarock = Most fun sword to use with two-hands. Actually, it's the only story battle (other than the final ones) where you can get one of them for purpose of breeding, otherwise you have to get them in random battles in the Deep Dungeon. And since the last form of them can be poatched for Rubber Costume (+150 HP and immunnity to lightning), it's a must have, imo. |

oh ive done the Elmdor battle without killing celia and lede in
their demon form, and stole all his equipment, if that counts.. i just status effected the crap out of them. -------------------- Why do kamakazi pilots wear helmets? |

Ok everyone this is my challenge.....Beat St. Ajora/Altima without using joined characters. By joined characters i mean people like Orlandu, Agrias, Malak(he sucks anyways), Rafa, Cloud, Worker no.8, etc...

I beat the first match with just me and delita because i had no idea how to get any 1 else.ohh and my challenge is when your at the begining of the game with agrais and dark knight guy try to let the other team win.

Heres a really hard thing to do: beat the last battle at lionel castle against the Cardinal with just a low lvl chemist(like 1-15) without making him any other job just have him be chemist. I did it it took about 10 trys but it worked he cant have any other class abilities. if he uses nightmare reset because youll nevr get it to work on that try.

yes! malak DOES suck, and rafa too. maybe ill try it, im at the end of the game anyway. heres one i can never do, try to LOSE the FIRST battle of the game, by killing your own characters. its so hard, theres NO way to lose the first battle.  -------------------- Why do kamakazi pilots wear helmets? |

OK, I'm digging up this topic to speak about a not so hard challenge I started this week-end, and how to make it intersting : the solo Ramza challenge.
In itself, the challenge isn't very difficult : the first battle is, but after that it's just a breeze if you do it right. But what makes it interesting is trying to max out what you can obtain in the game, while being true to the restrictions of the challenge (only Ramza can be a part of a battle, every character must be ditched out so that Ramza is always alone in the formation screen). Now in that spirit, try to steal the Cachusa of Celia (or Lede, I can't remember) at th Roof of Riovanes battle...trust me, not easy, but it can be done. My next task would be to check if you can steal all Genji equipment (not sure about this one, but heh, worth a shot) Edit : after 3 tries, I'm proud to announce that I succesfully stole all Genji equipment plus the Masamune from Elmdor. Ramza was Level 99, and equiped like this Ramza as a Thief : Steal Math Skill MP Switch Magic Attack Up Move MP Up --- --- Flash Hat Black Costume 108 Gems The idea is to dispose of the assasins as soon as possible, and place their Ultima Demons avatars in Critical status ASAP (that takes 3 turns when done correctly), then cast Slow on Elmdor, then Steal his Genji Shield and the Masamune. The first because it lowers the success rate for Steal, the second because whithout the Masamune, he will stop using his Muramasa Draw skill, and come punch you with his bare fists (because he's equiped with the Martial Arts Support skill) : that way you can avoid the Confusion and Death Sentence status. When you're at this point, you just have to be patient and Steal on every turn... This post has been edited by Mr Thou on 11th November 2003 11:02 |

Ok i got one for you beat the whole game using only knights with only knights abiltiesa i have not done this and until ive been proven otherwise i dont think it can be done

It can be done. The only challenge that I truly believe is impossible would be beating the whole game with only Calculators.
