I think that the most utterly pathetic monster in the history of FF for me would have to be the goblins. What do you think is the weakest?

Hm... I would say the Peepers on Solitary Island in FFVI that oneshot themselves with seizure after a turn.

I'm gonna' have to agree with the goblins. Although, if you weren't careful in the beginning of FFIIIDS, they could potentially kill you.
But still, they're often the warm up baddy for any FF, and for a lot of other fantasy series' to boot. Picking off a horde of goblins in Icewind Dale was always a good time and good for cheap loot. -------------------- Games on the Go Final Fantasy VII Final Fantasy: Four Warriors of Light Baldur's Gate Too much to play, so little time! I have to give it to Leafers in FF VI. Bunnies and lettuce are not an intimidating combination.

Yeah, my first thought was leafers too. I'd have to agree, Rabbits just aren't the kind of monsters you can take seriously. But then again, some of them will stop at nothing less than a Holy Hand Grenade...

Movers from FF7 would probably work.
However not so much the FF9 Movers as they can pack some punch. I mean they are small red orbs the bounce around. |

Stats wise, I think they're just as lame as goblins, though visually they are by far the less intimidating. Though, the leafers that visit Quahog certainly are scary... I don't think Goblins are pathetic. They have the mighty goblin punch!
I definitely think the WoR monsters that die on their own are more pathetic. -------------------- Wha? Thanks to me? |

The hare type enemies from FFXII. Most are friendly to you and run when attacked. They make excellent targets to practice your Quickenings on

FFVII, the first ever battle. The enemy either shoots you or smacks you.... the gun does less damage

Like Laz, I'm going with the Leafers. They're friggin bunnies man...eating cabbage. It's so benign that I didn't realize that's what the sprite was supposed on my first playthrough. It's just not something my mind would connect to as an enemy.

Yeah, either the Leafers or those who throw wrenches at you in the beginning of VI.

The most pathetic monsters are Peepers. Why? Because they KILL THEMSELVES while you are fighting them on the Solitary Island at the start of the World of Ruin in FF6! One of the few random encounters I've seen where you can just do nothing and you will win. Come on, guys!
