I always love looking aroung the internet to see different "top/best video games" lists, just to see different people's opinions, and where the consensus is.
A few days ago, I stumbled onto this new website, called UnikGamer.com. It's a website that recently launched, and what it does is that it allows you to make your own top list for different categories; best ever, RPGs, FPSs, and others, and then you can edit them, taking games off or moving games up. Then it takes all of the lists and compiles them together. Anyways, I just thought you all would be interested in that. -------------------- |

That's a pretty cool site, I may sign up. Unfortunately the website name reminds me of "Eunuch Gamers" which isn't really a good connotation to have.

I don't believe they're into that... No, lol, I think the person is Eastern European. I'm not sure where from though. I do think it's a cool site, but if there are any others like that that anybody knows about, please let me know. -------------------- |

I guess this is one of the features that MyAnimeList has for animé, but is there a site that actually goes the rest of the way?
I'd like to see a site that, like Backloggery, lets you list/track what games you've played or plan to play, but actually builds a community around the. Backloggery right now just lets you list games, but everyone's lists are separate, and you can write absolute nonsense gibberish into your entries if you want. On the other hand, on MAL, when you add a series to your list you can see other people's ratings of the series, as well as reviews, message boards, character lists, staff lists, and such, relating to the series. This site here does another piece, which is linking identical items on different people's lists of the same games and using it to compile rankings. -------------------- Check the "What games are you playing at the moment?" thread for updates on what I've been playing. You can find me on the Fediverse! I use Mastodon, where I am @[email protected] ( https://sakurajima.moe/@glennmagusharvey ) |
