Haven't made a semi-pointless poll in years.

Thought about this issue. I prefer Aile. Well, first of all I seem to enjoy female protagonists, and Aile is this awesome blend of cute adorableness and brave heroism. Second, the gameplay differs only very slightly, and the only mission difference is that there's one Aile-specific mission that gives you the opportunity to change Aile's palette, while the only Vent-specific mission just gives you another item, I think.

It really, really didn't matter to me when I tried them. I voted Vent because I found his voice to be a little less annoying. I sort of wish they had forgone the selectable characters and added more side missions.

Also, I will never quite forgive ZX for making me target specific boss areas to get the highest-rank stuff and the room dolls. That extra motivation made a reasonably-challenging game WAY TOO DAMN HARD.

I kinda enjoyed that. Partly because I like the gameplay of jumping around rapidly and dancing around enemies.

Then again, I only played easy mode. I suspect the area M (or was it N) spike water area would annoy me otherwise.

I also didn't find Aile's voice annoying, for whatever reason.

Edit: Crap, I just realized I should have left in an "I like both equally" option.
