In the FF7 Official Guide (yes, I know it sucks, but still) in the bestiary there's listed every status. [Slow], [Petrify], [Slow Stone], [Death], [Transform], etc...

but there are two that I don't understand, these are called (or listed) as: [Return] and [Impossible to Fight]. What are they? What's their effect? And finally, is there a way to inflict them?

Yep, I'm here.

No such thing as far as I'm concerned. I don't think there's much point wondering about it as I've never seen any sort of enemy who does such a thing. There isn't even anything about it on the Final Fantasy Wikia! No need to worry...

Return might be to do with Exit or something along those lines. Impossible to Fight sounds like the invincibility that Aeris' limit break gives you.

Is Impossible to fight not a status like Diamond WEAPON's 'Immune to Physical attacks' at the beginning of the battle? Or even like the Magic Pots before you 'Give 'em an Elixir'
