Hmm... 8-bit Theater, of course. Don't know if Homestarrunner counts.

A chance to plug my 3 favorite web comics. Although everyone has heard of 2 of them. I always read Bob and George, along with 8-bit theater. Also, however, I both read AND write Lunatic Trump. ui draw a lot of inspiration from those other two, and you guys should go read. everyone who has has loved it.

Well, I like VG Cats these days, since the last time I posted, i've found many a cool webcomic.. Theres also 8-bit theatre, ctrl-alt-del, and the ones not mentioned thus far are:
Bollox. Yes, Bollox. Turn Signals on a Land Raider! A 40K webcomic! And another 40k Webcomic I don't read often, Golden Throne -------------------- "Only the dead have seen the end of their quotes being misattributed to Plato." -George Santayana "The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here..." -Abraham Lincoln, prior to the discovery of Irony. |

I gotta add one- Sosa from 8bit makes it and its a MS paint comic. Its ridiculously funny though, full of nonsensicle plots and funny lines.

If you want to know a really funny comic just go to www.nuklearpower.com and go to archives then start on comic #1 every comic is all the same big comic but separated. Enjoy. But be careful its kind of violent, has "language" to but it is still very funny

Ahhh... 8-bit theater, one of my favorites! I don't know why, I just never found Penny Arcade to be all that funny. I read a little of it one time, and then I read a little more (from the beginning), and I kept readin' thinkin' it was gonna get better, but it never really made me laugh all that much.
Now HERE'S a good one, I've been readin' it for some time now: Ctrl-Alt-Del. It's got some pretty bad language every now and then, but it's SOOOOO funny. Another personal favorite (and much "cleaner") is Sam and Fuzzy. I can't decide what's funnier, that or CAD. -------------------- The island bathes in the sun's bright rays Distant hills wear a shroud of grey A lonely breeze whispers in the trees Sole witness to history ICO-You were there- |

Ah good ole 8-bit. Although I believe several people have posted before about it.
Also on www.newgrounds.com there are 4 flash productions created by an author called TLF that depict the 8-bitness and all its glory. -------------------- This is my world: (Got my second chapter up, 3rd Chapter about 80% complete) http://www3.sympatico.ca/daniel876/homepage.html |

I never used to be big on webcomics, then I met some really cool webcomic artists.
The few that I really enjoy and read when I get the chance: The Way To Your Heart That is the only webcomic I have ever been completely loyal to and have followed since she had like.. ten pages up. Paradox Lost Dave Lister's. He doesn't update much right now, but that was because of financial and situational problems. When he does, I think his art is really good. Seraphic Blue <-- Nami and Jekka are SO cool. ![]() AppleGeeks <--- I met Ananth, but not Hawk. TT-TT Regardless, kept me hooked. XD Dominic-Deegan: Oracle for Hire <-- This is the web comic by Mookie. This is probably the best webcomic I've ever read, because at one point my eyes were actually watering because it was sad. TT-TT Webcomics don't do that to me! XO Instant Classic <-- By Brian Carroll. Probably the most animated person ever! Josh - I don't care much for Mega Tokyo either. I don't even know why. But I get to meet Fred, and I've heard he's really nice. (Shy, but nice) That's why I'm gonna start making webcomics though, because then I get to meet new people! I'm excited to meet the creators of VGCats, Ctrl+Alt+Del, and 8 Bit Theatre at Connecticon this week. Hmm...most of what I read has already been listed...(I link only to that, wich has not yet been, and what I find worthy of linking to)
8-bit theater - It's a classic loved by many, as I see... Megatokyo - it used to be better, but it got awfully... well... weird...no, wrong word... pretensious (?) and mushy after Rodney Caston (The real Largo) left it. Ctrl+Alt+Del - MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! XD I love the sarcasm in it and I love Zeke the X-bot. Jack - this is a hardcore comic about hell...and with furries. Yes, I know a lot of you people probably hate furry comics, but this one's worth it... starts off funny, but gets serious in very little time, plus, the art itself is fantastic. ("I am one of seven. The name is Wrath") Nazi High - the politically correct cartoon - viciously funny comic about a high school that gets overtaken by a nazi principal. Misfile - a comic about a...well, misfile in heaven and effects thereof. Featuring one pot-smoking angel, and two angry mortals. Building 12 - fronm the author of Misfile. Building 12 is a university dormitory for freaks, losers, nutcases and otherwise social rejects. Beware. PowerPuff Girls Doujinshi - the title makes it awkward. But, besides the title characters, the cast has: Samurai Jack, Courage the cowardly dog, the Grim reaper, Mandy, Billy, Invader Zim, Dexter - boy genius, Coop - the pilot of Megas and more... Totally freaked out, beautifully drawn... try it. And for everybody who would dare to try it, two polish webcomics: L.O. sux - L.O. is short for "Liceum Ogolnoksztalcace" - basically, high school. It shows the, well, high-school life of the characters. (Fav char: the one-eyed snowman from space) Bundz - a story of a boy and his...goat. Hard to describe, but try it if you dare. -------------------- "I fell off the mountain of words at around the 10,000ft mark. Tell my family...they owe me money." -Narratorway "If you retort against this, so help me God I'll shove any part of your anatomy I can find into some other part. Figuratively, of course." - Josh "We have more, can deliver tuesday." - Del S Good old CoN |

All I really read is 8BT, Penny Arcade (probably my favourite), and VG Cats, occassionally, all of which have been linked to elsewhere. Another comic I've been reading lately, thanks to Narratorway is Count Your Sheep. It's endearing and pretty clever.

PennyArcade - Well D'uh.

The ones I read regularly are 8-bit Theater, duh, and also RPG World, which was really awesome except it never updates, then Ctrl-Alt-Del and Instant Classic are awesome, too.
Man, I can't believe nobody's mentioned Sam and Fuzzy yet! I like Hello Cthulhu, which is a bizarre mix of H.P. Lovecraft and Hello Kitty, and sometimes I check out MacHall. Penny Arcade's older comics are extremely funny, though they've seemed to be de-evolving into popular=dumb lately.
EDIT: I forgot Parking Lot is Full! It's like a more disturbing Far Side. Yes, more disturbing than the Far Side. Not funnier though, but dang close. This post has been edited by Penquin on 12th July 2005 20:33 |

Tons of people have mentioned vgcats, and it is often quite hilarious. I personally only read 8-Bit Theater, Penny-Arcade, and occasional vgcats or Sluggy Freelance. However, I tend to read 8BT in large binges instead of following it religiously, read vgcats only occasionally, and am really disappointed in recent Sluggy Freelance strips, but I check out out Penny-Arcade at least once a week, so I suppose that's my favorite.

I used to read Penny Arcade, but I haven't checked it out in...erm, a long time.
Among the few I keep up with nowadays are 8-Bit Theatre and the hilarious Van Von Hunter. -------------------- Words of Wisdom: If something can go wrong, it will.
