Hey guys, so playing through FF6 again on rom (so yay for original terms), and wanted to make sure I had done everything before losing the WoB forever.
So lets see... I've got Gau pretty much caught up on rages though... I do need to still fight the intangir (any tips on beating that sob?) I've got the three magecite you can get in the WoB. I just got Mog water rando I made sure to get the tempest when it was available. Went through and got some old chests I missed. Any scenes I can see that I might of missed? Any side story things? Any enemies I should fight before they are all gone? Sigh... it's just been so long since I've played this game. |

Easiest way to beat Intangir is to rage Rhodox. If you want to beat him the 'fair' way, then spam Stop to keep him from decimating your party while the rest of the team uses defense-piercing, non-elemental attacks...be ready for him to try and run at critical health, and to nail you with a Meteo when he goes.
There's a commonly-missed scene at the airship when it's grounded, before Locke and Terra head to Crescent Island, but if you're about to head into the Floating Continent, you missed it. Also, remember to get Grenade in the largest forest in the East, North continent. You'll either fight 6 Bombs or 1 Grenade, and I believe that's the only spot to get him. Okay, let's see if I remember everything: You've got Mog's Water Rondo, which is important. You don't have to 'beat' Intangir to fight him on the veldt, simply encounter him and escape. You *can* get Golem/Zoneseek espers from the auction house (I *think* the other one was Zoneseek) and you can buy one from the guy in Maranda was it? Anyway, there's 3 other espers you can purchase in WoB - but they'll be in WoR too so no worries there. There's several 'missable' fights in WoB that'll deprive you of rages later. For instance the grenades in the forest west of the veldt. There's also the enemy set for messing up the puzzle for Banon/Terra/Edgar's scenario. The Magitek Factory also had a lot of rare enemy sets, one which only appears where you fough Ifrit/Shiva. Other than that, the most important item in WoB was the Atma Weapon, really. Everything else is either still obtainable in WoR or has a better counterpart. -------------------- "A little tight, but the price was right" - Locke "Oh, what a Fuddy Duddy" - Relm "..." - Shadow "I'm a General, not some love starved twit" - Celes "Although Edgar showers his attention on the ladies, most are smart enough to pay him no attention. Yeah, Golem and Zoneseek from the Auction House, Seraphim from Tzen, but you can get all 3 in the World of Ruin so that's not a big deal...I actually don't believe you can miss any Espers in the game... -------------------- "If art doesn't risk upsetting expectations and challenging its audience, it can only stagnate." |

It's honestly nothing worth looking at. Just something between Setzer and I think Cyan. If you're absent minded and forget to pick up Ifrit, I believe that's the only one that can 'disappear' from WoB. I believe Shiva blocks the door so she's unavoidable. Other than that, Ramuh and the others are in Zozo, and I don't know of any glitch that forces you to avoid the magitek factory's event with the 6 espers. And Bahamut is missable if you Vanish+X-zone kill Doomgaze/Deathgaze. But those are all extreme scenarios.
