Has anyone checked this game out? By the recommendation of a friend, I decided to check this out about a month ago, and man I have become addicted. It's a free to play online multiplayer tower defense game. It was made by the same people that made the Warcraft III DotA mod. 40+ heroes with different abilities and play styles, about 100 items you can buy to influence the power of your hero, diffent spells you can use in battle, and much more. Very fun, and I'd highly recommend checking it out.

I'd been following this game since I first heard about it on The Escapist but after registering and getting a closed-beta key I found that my laptop can't run it. Pretty damn annoying I must say. I used to be completely hooked on DotA. I suppose I'll just have to wait until I buy a new computer. For those who are lucky enough to not be carting around a nigh-useless computer - everyone else - I recommend anything DotA-related.
