2010 promises to be a big year for video game fans as the current generation enters it's Teenager Stage and games begin to show us what this mighty consoles are capable of doing I'm sure there are more than a few games out there you might want and/or anticipate more than all the other games. This are some of my Most Anticipated Games of 2010:

(5) Super Street Fighter 4

The SUPER version of SF4 is coming to us in the first quarter of 2010 with more characters than the original. T. Hawk and Dee Jay make a return as well as a new female character who uses Taekwondo and is some how involve with S.I.N., the corporation controlled by Seth, SF4's final boss.

(4) God of War 3

(3) Gran Turismo 5

For me is a matter of loyalty and nostalgia. I've played Forza on XBOX and really enjoyed NFS Shift on PS3, but no racing simulator pleases me more than Gran Turismo does. With over 1000 cars and 16 player online racing, GT5 promises to be the sh--(beep)!

(2) Dead Space 2

The original Dead Space will forever be remembered as the game that made us remember why Resident Evil scare gamers so much back in the 1990's, two decades later Dead Space 2 will be the Survival Horror game that will revive this dying genre and remind gamers that Survival Horror is ALIVE. If are buddy Isaac had a hard time on the Ishimura planet cracker on the original Dead Space, imagine what will happen to him on a space colony with more humans for the necromorph to infect. Yes, yes I'm liking it!

(1) Final Fantasy 13 (with Versus FF13)

I'm hoping beyond all hope that this is the year Blizzard finally decides to release either Starcraft II or Diablo III. They're the games I've been most eagerly anticipating for a long, long time. Given Blizzard's track record and the amount of time that has gone into the production of these games, I've got pretty high expectations, but first I'd settle for a release date.

Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth is another game I'm dying to get my hands on. I've been a long time fan of the Phoenix Wright saga and Miles particularly has always been a favorite. The news that he'd be getting his very own game had me pleasantly surprised.

Bioshock 2 and Dante's Inferno also are on my list of games to pick up at some point in 2010. I'd add Arkham Aslyum 2 to that list, but I have no idea if it'll be released this year. Here's hoping!

Okay, but there was a goat!

I'm 100% sure that the first chapter of Starcraft II comes out in 2010. I'm also about 99% sure that Diablo III is NOT going to come out in 2010. I'm looking forward to both, though.

I have waaay too many games to play now to start thinking about 2010, but I'm definitely interested in Miles Edgeworth: Ace Attorney Investigations, Dragon Quest IX, God of War III, Super Street Fighter IV, and probably some other things that I'm forgetting.

Mass Effect 2 is coming out next month. I had some problems with the first one but I'll be picking up this one undoubtedly. Mario Galaxy 2 is up there. I would argue that Mario Galaxy is potentially the best game of the current console generation so far, but that's just personal preference. Metroid other M and the new Zelda were both stated to be "tracking" for 2010 so I hope they come through on that. I would say that metroid other M is probably going to make it while the new Zelda almost definitely will not. Short of kicking me in the stomach there isn't really anything square could do to make me stop buying final fantasy games at this point, so I'm definitely getting XIII. APB is a title coming from the guys who developed Crackdown (which was AWESOME) so I'm eager to at least hear more about it in the future. MAG is shaping up to be purchase worthy, even though it doesn't seem as epic as sony originally pitched it to be.

And lastly but definitely not least, NO MORE HEROES 2!

It's not a rumor. Check it. I think it was announced at E3 last summer. I got into the first one pretty hardcore, but the second one... it became more and more like work the more I played it. I'm not that interested in Golden Sun 3.
