There's really no reason to drop f-bombs in a thread like this, IMO. Just saying, since we do try to keep things reasonably clean around here as per the forum rules.

That said, I can tell that Pantera really resonated with you. But if you were to ask me, if you want to talk about musicians who died on December 8, this thread ain't the one that grabs my interest personally. To each their own.

I said it back when this happened that growing up, Pantera was one of the iconic bands that got me into the metal genre, and Dime's particular guitar playing style was something I had great respect for.

I had the chance to meet him outside a Damageplan concert only just shortly before he was murdered and he was, as many sources say, a very kind and sympathetic person, at least to his fans anyway.

I don't, however, continue to mourn the man's death however tragic it might've been. Nor any other celebrity or musician or what have you.
