I love the variety of vehicles that come into play in this game. There may have been more I could have included, but I ran out of slots in the poll (snowboard perhaps?). I'm sort of expecting a lot of Golden Chocobo or Highwind answers, but I think the other vehicles deserve some love too.
I'm gonna vote for the submarine, because I love that the party hijacks a Shinra sub and uses it to destroy Shinra's fleet and then retrieve the huge materia. It also allows access to the Ancients' key, the sunken Gelnika, and the mighty Emerald Weapon. -------------------- Wha? Thanks to me? |

I'll go for the midgar train.
Because "THERE AIN'T NO GETTIN' OFFA THIS TRAIN WE'RE ON!" (I know he doesn't mean a real train  ) -------------------- Wow! We can show our signature? Cool! ... but how do I draw it? ... the rocket because cid's a badarse. Oh yeah and it gave people hope and then dashed it. Cruelty is fun.

I actually liked using the Golden chocobo more than the rocket, because it was just fun and a good way to explore every little piece of terrain.
I actually hated using the sub. It just felt slow, and although I loved that that element was added to the game, I didn't like using it  -------------------- You're telling me that there's no hope. I'm telling you you're wrong. |

I'm quite partial to boats and trains. Now that I think about it, a lot of my favorite vehicles are the ones with no plot relevance and the ones that are inherently useful (Highwind, gold chocobo) seem kinda lackluster in comparison, enjoyment-wise at least.

The Tiny Bronco. I like it.
Why? In my language, "bronco" means "dumb": Besides that (funny) coincidence, it's a small, fast, and highly mobile airship that just happens to be damaged. -------------------- Snooping as usual, I see? |

I liked the sub and the rocket. Both were cool and different compared to all the stuff we'd seen previously. (That rocket reminds me of the Lunar Base... one of my favorite parts of FFVIII

Motorcycle, of course!
Purely for aesthetic purposes, though. If we were looking at in-game use, I'd have to say Gold Choco. Or maybe Black. Just a little bit aesthetic. What? I think my black Dusk looks way better than my gold Helios. And I'd even pick my green Sierra if she had Dusk's abilities...with my blue Neptun (game wouldn't let me have more letters) shortly behind. (I need to come up with decent names for my yellows....and maybe a gender different name for the black and gold, just in case. Or maybe just ignore the yellows and worry about the other ones. Ideas?) Anyway, I blame my dad for my motorcycle choice. He rides a motorcycle, my mom rides a motorcycle, now I "have to" ride a motorcycle, my nephew wants to ride a motorcycle when he grows up.... I think I'll switch my ringtone over to the motorcycle chase scene from this game. At least for my dad. It's currently on "Born to be Wild." And switch it to "One Winged Angel" for my sister. Hehehe. (I used to have it on Imperial March from Star Wars, but even at the highest volume, I never heard it ring. Wonder if I can change the volume of the tone before I put it on?) Hm, what would be good for when my mother calls? I'd considered Wutai or Cosmo Canyon, but I'm afraid I'll never hear it ring. Again: ideas? |
