Ok I know that this is all probably very well known... but you still could have been a bit more subtle with it! Haha

I think that a good sacrificial character in this game (aside from the two that did) would actually be Vincent. While Barret fits the movie stereotype of a sacrifice character (... black), he still has Marlene to live for. Vincent lost everything he had at the hands of Shinra. Going out as a sacrifice at that point would be the most suitable within the story.

Well I think SPOILER wouldn't SPOILER because SPOILER was the only one who could SPOILER the SPOILER.

The beauty of secret characters is that they are optional. Since the game can be played entirely without them, it would be good to have a possibility for Yuffie and Vincent to die. Maybe Yuffie could die in the pagoda if she loses a fight, and Vincent could be killed by Hojo in Midgar if he is in your party at the time.

I don't know whether Aeris has plans for Cloud or if she just sees Zack in him, probably the latter, but maybe Tifa could die to make room for her in Cloud's life. Tifa is Cloud's link to the past, however, so that could be a difficult role to replace.

man that was hilarious good job .

but aside from that i think Red XIII. I just thought he was very useless (as far as the story went) and in my opinion that would of redeemed his character if he sacrifised himself to save someone (like maybe aeris.)

I dont think a optional character would be a good death because i think it would be much more frustrating if I spent time getting a character just to find out that he ends up dying, therefore making all my efforts in vain.

Terrible, but true. Why does that always happen in action movies! There's a BA black guy who everyone likes. Then he gets killed. Then the entire movie is just a let down.
