I like those things that people eat when they go on diets that taste like coasters. Not for eating, for chucking at my brothers.

Italian food, especially as prepared by my Nonna (grandmother) is exceptionally out of this world. Coming from an Italian background, it really hits the spot. I'm also really into spicy foods of any kind, put a little hot sauce on it and I'll devour the stuff. I'm big into Cajun cooking, mexican and chinese food also.
I hate to admit it, I'm a junky for fastfood as well. I eat more Mcdonalds than a small country, it's ridiculous. I whore out Subway, especially since I recently found out the two of the ones near my area deliver. That's right, freakin' Subway Delivery. It's epic. I guess I just have a soft spot for greasy, processed meat filled foods that are horrible for my health. I love food! Any kind is great for me, as long as it's cooked well.
I'm very partial to Korean food, especially Korean barbecue. Korean food is great because it tastes good and it's also pretty good for you, incorporating a lot of protein and vegetables. I also enjoy Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Indian, and Mexican food - I prefer lots of spice and strong, distinct tastes. However, I also appreciate the subtlety of other worldwide cuisine, like French or Japanese. Frankly, when the food is good, I'll eat it, no matter where it comes from. However, I do take issue when it's poorly made, and I can be very picky about quality, especially at restaurants. -------------------- "I always have a quotation for everything - it saves original thinking." ~Dorothy L. Food is important for a growing boy. Unfortunately I'm growing more out than up.
Chinese is excellent. I also like most Italian foods. Apparently I'm somewhat generic. Oh, and I also like American food. Hot dogs, french fries, chicken, steak... And I eat a lot of starch. Ramen noodles is one of my favorite starches. I guess I can add Japanese to the list. -------------------- Squenix games completed: FFIII FFIV FFVI FFVII FFIX FFX FF Tactics: Advance 2 Chrono Trigger Dragon Quest 8 Dragon Quest 11 Super Mario RPG |

I like curry, fijianboy. It's great with spinach, chick peas and rice, particularly basmati rice.
Japanese and Chinese food are my favourites, and I like some Mexican, but I'm not big on spicy. I usually like to cook my own food from scratch. One of my favourite simple things to do is toast some bread, spread some ripe avocado on it, and add a little salt. It's makes a great sandwich with tomato slices and lettuce, too. -------------------- I had an old signature. Now I've changed it. |

I'm addicted to good alfredo sauce. Not that Newman's Own swill that you get at Bi-Lo or Ingles, or even that cheap stuff they serve at the Olive Garden. No, I want good, authentic alfredo from an italian kitchen. You just can't beat that. Hell, you could smother that stuff over saur kraut and it would taste divine.

I love most any kind of food, but my favorite Western type of food is really good French food and my favorite ethnic food is Thai food. I really don't discriminate, though, and I'll enjoy practically anything that's made well. My other soft spots include Italian, Mexican, Peruvian, Vietnamese Pho, Ethiopian, and good Chinese (none of this General Tso's or sweet and sour pork BS, but the real stuff that I eat at the restaurants in the Eden Asian Market near my home).

Despite, last I checked, being a mere 116lbs, I eat a lot. My typical school-day day consists of breakfast - crisps - chips - bag of sweets/snack - soup etc. - dinner - rest of soup etc. - supper.
Most of all, I love a good bowl of oxtail soup, especially the Heinz variety. Practically every day, I walk my dog to the shops, pick up a tin or two of the stuff, a bag of mint imperials, some smoked cheese, some pistachio nuts and some bitter lemon drink. It can't be that healthy, but it's good eating. Honourable mentio to Spar Food-2-Go - it used to be a Subway, and they kept MOST of the sandwiches (particularly my favourite, the meatball marinara) but also sell things like southern-fried chicken, pizza-rolls and potato wedges. I'm hungry just thinking about it. Though I love a good chop suey. Hmm, I don't know, that could be my favourite. Oxtail and chop suey, I'd say. If you'd bothered to search the thing you're connected to with that modem instead of making a bigoted and misinformed (also unfunny) joke, you'd find out that Ethiopia has a distinctive type of cuisine. It might not be as famous as Mexican, Chinese, Indian, or American, but it's a good example of why you should think before you spam. Incedentally, why's no one mentioned spam, the food? Becuase it's rubbish? Well, it is. I personally quite like UK dishes like fish and chips, and most of the fare you get from a chip shop. I also like Chinese, but only really eat a few things from a chinese takeaway like chicken balls, won tons, prawn toast, and such. I also only like plain or egg fried rice. Not much of a fan of Indian and I don't get very intresting Pizzas, usually just cheese and sausage, maybe chicken. Though I did once or twice use toast, cheese, and tomato purée to make a sort of Pizza toast. When I was about 12. Naturally plain old cheese on toast is good too. I technically like some Mexican/Tex-mex, in that I like nachos, fajitas, and burritos. I do like US style stuff like Burger King, KFC, and such, and if I have hot dogs, I flick two fingers at stuffy yanks who think you should not have tomato sauce on it. So you think it's disgusting. Keep reading. Naturally, I like haggis and the deep fried mars bar, as well as black pudding. And of course, sausage rolls, scotch pies, and bovril. I'm not too diverse, really. And I don't have a favourite. Hands down, Ramen noodles. Gotta love 'em. Spicy things are pretty high up there, too, as long as they aren't so spicy you have no tastebuds left to experience the yumminess behind the heat.

Wow, this internet business is much more serious and less light-hearted than I initially thought. Aside from being called a bigot and inferring that I don't know how to use a computer, it was a legitimate question asked on my part, with what I had hoped would be a touch of humor. I have no idea what ethnic Ethiopian cuisine is. Furthermore, I don't have the drive to search for it online, as you obviously do. I was asking the poster who said that he enjoyed that type of cuisine what exactly it consisted of. -------------------- Join the Army, see the world, meet interesting people - and kill them. ~Pacifist Badge, 1978 |

Greek is one of my favourites. I loves me my roast lamb! Mmmm Hmmmm. Also, in my city there is a restaurant called "The Afghani Horesman," which serves up authentic afghani food. It's my most favourite restaurant ikn the whole city - very nice atmosphere, they even have a couple of sections with low tables and cushions to sit on. No pork in this place. Nope. And that's a good thing.

Italian food, hands down.
Mixing seafood and Italian cooking is the best thing in the world. If any of you have a Gianno's nearby, try their pesto salmon. ohmygosh. |

First and foremost, my Caribbean background means that my parents make a lot of rice, beans, oxtail, goat and chicken with curry and jerk seasoning
I'm actually not to big on Italian. I love all types of Asian food, including Indian, Chinese and Japense. In terms of "fast food", I like Wendy's, Subway, and Arby's the most. And I enjoy a lot of good 'ol Southern cooking, especially the pigsfeet that a friend of our family makes. But I'll pass on the chitlins, thanks. -------------------- |

Heh, well, to be honest I hadn't really gotten into Ethiopian food until I found a restaurant near JMU two years ago, while I was visiting a friend. I loved it there so much that after a little research I found an independant joint near home that I tried out and also really enjoyed. Since then I've considered myself a big fan of Ethiopian cuisine. Here's the website of the first Ethiopian place I went to: Blue Nile -------------------- |

you put a plate of chicken, shrimp, and steak terriyaki(or any combination of the three) in front of me, you'd best stay from in between it and me. lest ye loose a limb.i have no idea why God allows this food to be so good. it's ridiculous. and what's worse is, i pay $10 for a plate of this stuff everytime i go to Macon(which is like every other week). it's ridiculously expensive, but SOOOOOOOO good!
i like alot of what you'd call "Soul Food". you know what i mean,. the southern dishes. grits, collard greens, biscuits 'n' gravy, etc. also, why is it that spaghetti tastes better after it's sat in the fridge overnight and then re-heated? wierd. -------------------- moé in the streets, senpai in the sheets |

Food from Subway is yummiful. Pretty much all other fast food... isn't. And, darnit, I just have to mention peanut butter. It's good on crackers, toast, celery... anything! I love bread. Yeah, that probably sounds funny to you, but I'd probably be able to eat bread for the rest of my life and be happy. Especially Sourdough bread..
As for different types of food, I'm not too picky. I like some Italian food, and Chinese food. Quote (Celes of Blades) I love rice. It's the best. Seriously. I know, isn't it? I love rice. Even if it's that cheap microwavable pouch stuff, I still love rice. -------------------- |
