Just trying a different coloring technique. I know I should have drawn some clouds for this, but I think other than that, it turned out well.

No clouds necessary. I love the extreme sunset colors you have going and the blue rock to contrast. My only gripe would be the characters don't seem to have the proper shades for being in such a sunset. But they are rather small so that could end up making them kinda hard to make out.

I agree. This is actually a really cool picture, and I also like the coloring contrast between the sky and the rock. The rock has been done effectively, and I like the style of the characters. I think it's good that some are hard to make out, as it adds to that feeling of twilight.
