I found that parasite eve is way worth playing,the main character of the story is aya brea and she has a sort of genetic changing mitocondria.
The dna wich controlls her groth rate and the healing etc.

She has kinetic powers and is a really cool hero.

She has a sister who's mitocondria is mutated and she is far more powerfull.She wants to to change everybody into something like her.

The story is quite good the dialogue is very intriguing and ontop of not just having cool characters like aya brea maeda the scientist and daniel the cop who fights with her.Ontop the fighting is very cool and you fight in realtime only and you move around the map and fire with weapons.
You can attune weapons to not only increase its power but to give it a edge,say like:give it acid effect or to penetrate armor adn stuff like that.

Parasite eve 2:This game is closer to Resident evil style while being a rpg.

Your character Aya brea is alone during most of this game and this game is darker and more like a Surivival horror for that reason.
You have to save up on ammo and also you have to decide wich powers to gain.If you are a die hard rpg fan and don't like survival horrors then you will hate this game.If you love Survival horrors and enjoy rpgs You will absolutely love this game.

the pe series was a new and riskey challenge for square to take, luckily nomuros work came through in the end to make a instant classic
i love the design though pe2 lacked something that pe1 had maybe it mighta been the music or the fact that aya didnt have a much more open love intrest.
cant wait for pe3 though i hope it will have crisis core gameplay

The main issue is,that they discontinued making console parasite eve sequels and moved to making it for a mobile phone and posibly for psp.


And as i said:

You either love parasite eve 2 and enjoy survival horrors or you hate it alltogether.

The risk was way worth it and i have hopes that they will make a console version.

PE3 is on the psp aka 3rd birthday it was comfirmed a while ago

I loved PE, up until I was unable to beat it. One of the early final boss battles. I have no amo and a bellow standard gun, and so I kinda gave up... Sometime this summer I may pick it up again and check out some of the extra areas in the hopes of improving my attack abilities.

I've only played the original; and, even then, I only borrowed it for a week or two. That's not to say I didn't enjoy it--I did. For various reasons I just haven't gotten back into it. Maybe I should.

These games are cult classics imo.

I played PE and I couldn't get past the first part of the game? I was mad and I never went back to playing it because I can't find it.

PE2 is so freaking cool! I enjoy playing PE2. Although it is another game that is hard to find... But the character of Aya Brea is pretty interesting. I played PE2 before PE and I didn't really want to look back. I was in awe over PE2's graphics (when it was new) and the battle system is pretty sweet.

I just wish I could get my hands on both games. I should write a letter to Playstation to release these games over the PSN.

I have to admit i beat pe1 but not pe2.

Eve in Pe2 is ridiculously hard with the pe explosion
