...is awesome beyond words. Discuss.
(And this doesn't go in the FFV section because he's in a lot of games!) -------------------- The opera was only performed in English ONCE. T_T Hey, FF artists! You might want to check this challenge out! WEBSITE <3 |

I'm not sure if he's awesome beyond words, but he is pretty cool.
For some reason, though, I was always reminded of Power Rangers whenever I saw him in FFV... He just seemed like something Queen... Rita Repulsa? (I think that was her name) would summon. Then proceed to make grow. And do battle. Then be PWND by Megazord. Anyways, I actually liked how he was characterized in FFXII, both in antics and voice. I couldn't have cast it better myself, really, nor directed it thus. It gave just enough of the badassery and absurdity that was him to it. Poor Gilgamesh, though, suffered the fate of the hapless comic relief villain then never got his way... like Starscream or somesuch. -------------------- Games on the Go Final Fantasy VII Final Fantasy: Four Warriors of Light Baldur's Gate Too much to play, so little time! I thought it was really cool how he had swords from past final fantasies in his appearance in FFXII.
He's a pretty cool character, and I liked his original looks in FFV. Why wasn't he in dissidia?? -------------------- Currently Playing : Final Fantasy V Most Recently Beat : Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Favorite Game : Final Fantasy X The newest CoNcast is up! Have a listen! |

But of course he is several levels of awesomeness. And Excalipoor is the best sword ever, no questions. (Actually it sucks, but you know what I’m talking about).
And he IS in Dissidia, just in 2D as a summon >_> -------------------- "Love, and do what you will" Saint Augustine |

Gilgamesh reminds me of power rangers because of his 'morphing time' line. It is epic and priceless.

I just had to listen to that song (Clash on the Big Bridge) once it was mentioned. Awesome song of awesomeness.

The only version of Gilgamesh I've seen so far is the one in VIII, but he seems pretty fun.
However: FFVIII disk 4 spoilers: Possible spoilers: highlight to view He ended up getting me a game over because he came and used masamune during the battle where Rinoa is junctioned to Adel, and killed Rinoa. ![]() This post has been edited by ILoveMoombas! on 21st February 2009 14:13 -------------------- FF games completed: I (psp), II (psp), III (DS), IV (psp), V (GBA), VI (GBA), VII, VIII, IX, X, XI: Nations-Rhapsodies of Vana'diel, XII, XIII, XIV, XV. My favorite one is from FFXII because of the swords as well. I actually like the fact that he is played as comic relief though in some of the games. I had forgotten about most of those lines! Funny stuff.

Due to GBA remakes, Gilgamesh has been in FF1, FF5, and FF6. He is awesome in the others, but Gilgamesh can get annoying on FF5. he is obsessed with Excalibur and Genji items...
