Fine, this one says “SNES” in the title, of course it is a hack, but you get the point.

I've never heard of such a thing, do you remember where did you read it?

Also, the various fan-translations for the game (the Super Famicom one) have Shadow in the WOR, how could they all add him?

Edit: Oh wait, I forgot I have THE COMPLETE!, Aaand there's Shadow in the WOR. Case closed.

My appologies then sandy. as for where i heard it, i do believe a friend of mine on here a long time ago told me that. I could be wrong of course but yeah. I seem to remember something along that line.

Magitek_slayer I do believe, though i am not a 100% sure, that realm is infact not related to strego at all, but is infact a friend of the family and more of an adopted grandfather or something. I believe one of the people in thasma, a non important generic character states this fact.

Back on topic. I've always found shadow to be one of the more interesting characters of the game simply because he lives up to his name in more ways than one. That being that he's like a "shadow" following you around to various places (though him following you may not be a consious effort on his part.)

That appears to be one of those things that could have easily been lost in translastion as to what they really meant their relationship to be, but I would have to believe that Strago was at least close to her mother, whether he was her father or a friend of the family. But all of the people in Thamasa seem to be pretty close, being that they all hide the same secret and all. But I believe that all of those things were intentionally left to be ambiguous, as is most information about Shadow in the game.

No trouble at all, more like sorry if I sounded rude.

I remember that too. I can't seem to find a game's script that includes what npcs say though.

What I'm wondering is whatever Strago was friends with Relm's mom or with Clyde himself. Of course it could be both.

In development stages it was planned for Strago to ask Shadow who he was. Shadow agrees to take of his mask for a few moments but makes Strago promise to not to tell anyone.
